Te Akau horses racing at Kranji racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 Premiership winning trainer Mark Walker leads the 2017 Trainers' Premiership with 84 wins since 1 January - a lead of 24 wins.  

Friday 24 November -

11.50 p.m. R1 8 BRINGER OF WAR - App N Hanafi (a4); the first runner for the stable this evening is the well-drawn (2) Burgundy filly who has shown much promise, already stakes' placed, since arriving in Singapore. She carries only 49kgs with the maximum apprentice claim in the Class 4 1100m on the polytrack  - she comes into this race nicely with the lightweight claim - top four chance.

1.50 a.m. (Saturday) R5 12 KASHAN - Harry Kasim; this 6YO unfortunately cops the outside draw (12) in this Class 5 1600m on the polytrack where he is assigned with 50kgs. After a handy enough resuming run for sixth, he still needs to step up.

2.20 a.m. (Saturday) R6 1 MIGHTY CONQUEROR- App R Zawari (a2); some relief from the top weight with the apprentice aboard (57.5kgs) in this Kranji Stakes C SW 1200m on the Polytrack.  Breaking from the handy three draw in this field of 12 in this S$80,000 event, he finally gets a good gate - top four chance.

2.50 a.m. (Saturday) R7 9 LIM'S KNIGHT - App R Zawari (a2); the ace draw for this Australian bred in the Open Benchmark 67 1400m on the turf short course A.  With a reduction to 53kgs with the apprentice assigned, he faces 10 combatants however probably needs to return to Class 4 to be winning again.

3.20 a.m. (Saturday) R8 7 AUSPICIOUS ACE - Craig Grylls; the final runner tonight for Mark Walker has the one from the outside (11) draw to contend with in this Class 4 1100m on the Polytrack where he carries just 52kgs for the Kiwi hoop.  A 4YO by Alamosa, he has had solid finishes from his last three (4-3-5) and poses a dangerous lightweight chance.
