Te Akau Singapore Hits $750,000

Te Akau Singapore is on track to record its best season ever, if the first six weeks are anything to go by.

The Singapore Turf Club's new season kick started on 1 January with Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker recording our first winner on day one and since then, the wins have been flowing as the team tears up the turf (figuratively speaking of course)!

As of today, Mark Walker is five wins clear on the Trainers' Premiership with 17 winners in just six weeks - and 11 second, 19 third and 13 fourth placegetters.

The other great news is that the three winners on Sunday took Te Akau Singapore past the three quarters of a million mark in stakes' earnings - yes - $750,177 in prize money being won for our owners - what a fabulous effort!

That means that the average weekly stakes' earnings for Te Akau Singapore stands at $125,029!

It certainly is a great place to race a horse - well done to Mark and our Kranji team!  Te Akau is truly a successful international operation with Singapore racing giving our owners a wonderful opportunity! Remember a maiden race is now worth $75,000!
