Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview
Please note that out of respect to the late President Nathan of Singapore - Friday's race meeting has been postponed until Saturday - Kranji will thus race both Saturday and Sunday.
Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 Trainers' Premiership winner Mark Walker lies third on the Trainers' Premiership - now with 47 wins since 1 January.

Saturday 27 August - NOTE A SATURDAY MEETING

5.30 p.m. R1 2 LIM'S CONTROL - Danny Beasley; in this Class 5 1200m on the polytrack, he has drawn the ace and carries 57kgs.  In this 10 horse field, it's his first time in Class 5 and has drawn well - a top four chance.

6.00 p.m. R2 7 HATTA - Oscar Chavez; a reasonable draw (five of 10) and just 52.5kgs to carry in this Restricted Maiden for 2&3YOs over 1000m under WFA conditions on the polytrack.  He has been gelded since disappointing at his first start and has been working well this week - a top four chance.

7.35 p.m. R5 4 EATONS' GOLD - App CK Ng (a3); this honest Fortuna campaigner faces a field of 10 starters, carries just 51 kgs with the apprentice claim and jumps from gate four.  In this Class 3 1100m on the polytrack, he has been going good, solid races but probably needs to drop back to Class 4 to show his best.

9.10 p.m. R8 1 BRAHMS AND LISZT - Olivier Placais; a veteran who always tries his heart out, he has drawn seven of 10 runners and carries 58kgs in this Kanji Stakes D over 1600m on the polytrack.  He is in good form without winning and tonight finds a suitable race - top four chance.

9.40 p.m. R9 8 VALUE OF JUSTICE - Olivier Placais; in the final for the stable, this 4YO has drawn 10 of 11 and is weighted with 55.5kgs in the Class 4 1400m on the turf long course A.  He did disappoint somewhat first up and may need to drop back a grade to be competitive in Singapore.
