Te Akau Singapore has 11 horses entered Saturday 29 April at Kranji.
Te Akau trainer Singapore Donna Logan ended her first season finishing second in the premiership, and currently fifth. Training since 2018 in Singapore, Logan took over from Mark Walker on 1 January 2022.
Walker was Singapore Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), 2019, and 2021, also runner-up three times, third, and fourth.
4:30 p.m. R2 3 King Gee (3 g Invader - Cariad) - Bernardo Pinheiro; he drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1100 metres on the poly-track and carries 57kg. He formerly raced in Australia, and has since won a trial nicely here. He makes his debut today and, expected to go forward, he rates a top four chance.
4:30 p.m. R2 12 Rhett Butler (2 g Charm Spirit - Thurlow) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); he drew barrier 8 of 12 likewise in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1100 metres on the poly-track and carries 44.5kg. From a good family, he trialled well, carries a light weight and also rates a top four chance on debut.
5:30 p.m. R4 4 Mystery Power (6 g No Nay Never - Gems) - Simon Kok (a1); he drew the outside barrier (12) in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on the turf and carries 57kg. Clocking good sectionals, he has the ability to rate a first three chance but will require luck from wide gate (12).
5:30 p.m. R4 7 Gamely (7 g Golden Archer - Tiny Temptress) - Saleh Shafrizal (a1); he drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on the turf and carries 53kg. He has produced encouraging performances at his last two starts, will push forward, and has top three claims if he gets all favours in front.
6:30 p.m. R6 4 Charminton (4 g Charm Spirit - Sarzana) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew barrier 1 of 10 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly-track and carries 52.5kg. He raced well last start, should camp nicely from his ace draw and presents as a top four chance.
7:30 p.m. R8 5 Diamond Ring (6 g Super Easy - Donna Marie) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew the outside barrier (10) in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly-track and carries 54.5kg. He requires luck from his tough draw (10), and disappointed last start, so improvement will be needed.
9:00 p.m. R11 1 January (3 g Swiss Ace - Musically) - Simon Kok (a1); he drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $150,000 Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic (Gr. 2, 1400m) on the turf and carries 57kg. He of course won the $110,000 Singapore Three-Year-Old Sprint (Gr. 3, 1200m), with a great turn of foot, should appreciate this trip and is the likely favourite in the feature.
9:00 p.m. R11 3 Luxury Brand (3 g Charm Spirit - Miss Gucci) - Fadzli Yusoff (a2); he drew barrier 8 of 14 and also lines up in the $150,000 Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic (Gr. 2, 1400m) on the turf and carries 57kg. It was a massive effort finishing third last start to January (above) and he has first four claims.
9:00 p.m. R11 10 Knippenberg (3 g I Am Invincible - Red Fez) - Ronnie Stewart; he drew barrier 4 of 14 likewise in the $150,000 Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic (Gr. 2, 1400m) on the turf and carries 57kg. It was a solid effort for fourth last start to January (above), running strong sectionals, and he has first four prospects.
9:35 p.m. R12 5 Axel (7 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 54kg. He ran well over this trip last start, is ideally drawn (4), is one for longer odds and any rain would help.
9:35 p.m. R12 11 Fadaboy (4 g Deep Field - Ezee Ezee) - Saleh Shafrizal (a1); he drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 50.5kg. He is a genuine performer in this grade, has the perfect draw (1), and the light weight assigned will aid his prospects.
