Te Akau Singapore has 11 horses entered Saturday 6 May at Kranji.

Te Akau Singapore trainer Donna Logan ended her first season finishing second in the premiership, and currently fourth. Training since 2018 in Singapore, Logan took over from Mark Walker on 1 January 2022. 

Walker was Singapore Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), 2019, and 2021, also runner-up three times, third, and fourth.

 

4:00 p.m. R1 16 Wednesday (5 g Super One - Shufetish) - unfixed; drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 50kg. Ballot four, unlikely to gain start.

5:00 p.m. R3 3 Ahorsewithnoname (4 m Adelaide - Me No Marsh Potato) - Louis Beuzelin; drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 55.5kg. Had quiet trial, working well, and first start for stable.

5:00 p.m. R3 8 Fadaboy (4 g Deep Field - Ezee Ezee) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 48kg. He rates a place chance at value.

5:30 p.m. R4 10 Rahotu (6 g Invincible Spirit - Insoumise) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 46kg. He is looking to improve.

6:00 p.m. R5 1 Our Secret Weapon (5 g Outreach - Poppy's Pond) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); drew barrier 6 of 8 in the $30,000 Class 5 1000 metres on poly-track and carries 55kg. Won two of last four, good distance stats, rates a top three chance.

8:00 p.m. R9 9 Foresto (8 g Excelebration - Swiss Current) - Saleh Shafrizal (a1); drew barrier 1 of 10 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 49kg. He is looking to improve.

8:30 p.m. R10 7 Elliot Ness (5 g Written Tycoon - Walk With Attitude) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 50kg. Course/distance track record holder and rates a top three chance.

9:00 p.m. R11 1 January (3 g Swiss Ace - Musically) - Simon Kok (a); drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $150,000 Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic (Gr. 2, 1400m) on turf and carries 57kg. Great win last start in the Group Two Sprint (1200m), up in distance suits and he rates a top four chance.

9:00 p.m. R11 3 Luxury Brand (3 g Charm Spirit - Miss Gucci) - Fadzli Yusoff (a); drew barrier 8 of 14 in the $150,000 Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic (Gr. 2, 1400m) on turf and carries 57kg. Massive run last start for third in the Group Two Sprint (1200m) and rates a top a top four chance.

9:00 p.m. R11 10 Knippenberg (3 g I Am Invincible - Red Fez) - Ronnie Stewart; drew barrier 4 of 14 in the $150,000 Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic (Gr. 2, 1400m) on turf and carries 57kg. Massive run last start for fourth in the Group Two Sprint (1200m) and has to rate a top four chance from ideal draw (4).

 9:35 p.m. R12 9 Entertainer (6 g Zoustar - Laughing) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1100m on poly-track and carries 53kg. Good form line, ideally drawn (3), has gone well around this mark in grades.
