Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has four horses entered on Saturday 2 December at Kranji.
Te Akau trainer Donna Logan ended her first season finishing second in the premiership.
5:30 p.m. R2 6 China Pearl (3 g Ardrossan – Indian Sky) – Fadzli Yusoff (a2); he drew barrier 10 of 14 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the turf and carries 55kg. He was strong to the line on debut, and will have learned a lot from that experience. He has ability and will keep improving, but does requires luck from the wide draw (10).
8:30 p.m. R8 5 Commander (3 g U S Navy Flag – Quest) – Manoel Nunes; he drew barrier 11 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the turf and carries 56.5kg. He drops in class for this assigment, has the top rider aboard, the mile suits, and he has strong first four claims but again, will need luck from his wide gate (11).
9:30 p.m. R10 8 Montana Flash (5 g Star Turn – Dukemore) – Manoel Nunes; he drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 53kg. He has already recorded a win on this long course, has the ability to make his presence felt and rates a top four chance.
9:30 p.m. R10 17 Maximum Control (4 g Written Tycoon – Alcatraz) – Jamil Sarwi (a3); he drew barrier 5 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 49kg. Sitting at three on the ballot, he is unlikely to gain a start.
