8:00 p.m. R7 1 Commander (3 g U S Navy Flag – Quest) – Jamil Sarwi (a3); drew barrier 3 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1800 metres on turf and carries 56kg. Won impressively two starts ago over 1600 metres and rates a top three chance from barrier four.  

9:00 p.m. R9 1 Knippenberg (4 g I Am Invincible – Red Fez) – Ryan Curatolo; drew barrier 6 of 11 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 57.5kg. Highest rated and top weight, but suited back on turf, good stats, and rates a top three chance.

9:00 p.m. R9 4 Stenmark (5 g Medaglia d’Oro – Scandiva) – Jamil Sarwi (a3); drew barrier 9 of 11 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 53kg. Held ground last time, all three wins on turf, but requires luck from wide (9) and better suited back in Class 4. 

9:00 p.m. R9 6 Luxury Brand (4 g Charm Spirit – Miss Gucci) – Yusoff Fadzli (a2); drew barrier 7 of 11 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 53kg. Freshened, trialled solidly, and likely benefit with run.

9:00 p.m. R9 9 Reignite (6 g Sebring – Risk Aversion) – Harry Kasim; drew barrier 5 of 11 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 53.5kg. Good third last time on poly and ideally drawn (5) to rate top four.

10:00 p.m. R11 2 Axel (8 g Darci Brahma – Josephines Fortune) – Jamil Sarwi (a3); drew barrier 3 of 10 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 55kg. Last start winner, good course/distance stats, but faces much higher rated field and rates top four.

10:00 p.m. R11 6 Contarelli (4 g Caravaggio – Dark And Stormy) – Yusoff Fadzli (a2); drew outside barrier (10) in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 51.5kg. Back in class, but requires luck from draw (10) in competitive race.
