Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview










Te Akau Singapore has twelve horses racing on Saturday 7 March at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (Dec. 8) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and leads the way with 16 wins this year. 





7.15 p.m. R3 3 Afalonhro  (4 g Lonhro - Armed for Action) - Vlad Duric; drew the outside barrier (11) in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. He rates a top four chance with luck from the draw (11) - the first of two in the race for trainer Mark Walker.





7.15 p.m. R3 9 Broadway Success  (4 g Alamosa - Broadway Express) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 48kgs. He may be better suited in Class 5. 





7.45 p.m. R4 2 Prince Pegasus  (6 g Beneteau - Sassy Peg) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 10 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 59kgs. He will be better suited to racing in Malaysia.





8.45 p.m. R6 2 Augustus  (5 g Snitzel - Gussy Godiva) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 4 of 8 in the $70,000 Class 3 1800 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. He rates a top four chance in another event with dual stable representation.





8.45 p.m. R6 5 Time Lord (5 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 3 of 8 in the $70,000 Class 3 1800 metres on turf and carries 54.5kgs. He may be better suited in Class 4.





9.20 p.m. R7 7 Yulong Edition  (5 g Makfi - Bride Unbridled) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 4 of 8 in the $100,000 Kranji Stakes 1800 metres on turf and carries 52kgs. He meets a very strong field.





9.50 p.m. R8 2 Axel  (4 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 54.5kgs. Unlucky in his last two starts, he rates a top four chance from barrier four - one of two for Mark Walker.





9.50 p.m. R8 3 Sacred Judgement  (4 g So You Think - Rose Ransom) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 10 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. Extremely unlucky last start, he rates a top four chance.





10.20 p.m. R9 2 Red Rover  (5 g O'Reilly - Pin Up) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 59kgs. In great form, he rates a top four chance in a race featuring three stable starters.





10.20 p.m. R9 3 Sacred Sham  (6 g O'Reilly - Mexican Rose) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 55kgs. Fresh-up, he will improve for the run.





10.20 p.m. R9 8 Fulife King (4 g Written Tycoon - Brilliant Bisc) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 55.5kgs. He rates a top four chance with luck from the draw (9).





10.50 p.m. R10 10 Ka Chance (5 g Redoute's Choice - All Enfield) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 48kgs. He may be better suited in Class 5.
