Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has five horses entered on Saturday 30 March at Kranji.

5:00 p.m. R1 3 Otahuhu (4 g Overshare – O’Reilly Miracle) – Jaden Lloyd; drew outside barrier (11) in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on poly track and carries 59kg. He steps up after winning last start with Lloyd aboard, goes forward but requires luck from wide draw (11).

5:30 p.m. R2 1 Prince Lonhro (4 g Lonhro – Palace Gardens) – Fadzli Yusoff (a2); drew barrier 8 of 14 in the $20,000 Maiden 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kg. Good form from his last start, highest rated and appears a top three chance.

8:30 p.m. R8 4 Commander (3 g U S Navy Flag – Quest) – Manoel Nunes; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1700 metres on poly track and carries 57.5kg. Often has bad luck, leading rider is key and he rates a top four chance.

9:00 p.m. R9 5 Stenmark (5 g Medaglia d’Oro – Scandiva) – Bruno Queiroz; drew barrier 4 of 10 in the $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 55.5kg. Meets talented field, but good second last time, stakes placed, and rates a top four chance.

10:00 p.m. R11 2 Reignite (6 g Sebring – Risk Aversion) – Awa Chong (a4); drew outside barrier (12) in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly track and carries 54kg. Likes poly track, will get back from wide draw (12) and needs to show improvement.
