Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has three horses entered on Saturday 14 September at Kranji. 

4:30 p.m. R1 3 Otahuhu (5 g Overshare – O’Reilly Miracle) – Awa Chong (a4); he drew barrier 7 of 11 in the S$30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 54.5kg. He brings solid course/distance stats to this contest, has good weight relief and rates a top four chance.

5:30 p.m. R3 4 China Pearl (4 g Ardrossan – Indian Sky) – Ryan Curatolo; he drew barrier 5 of 12 in the S$30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on the turf and carries 58kg. A previous course/distance winner, watch him to be an improver second-up. 

9.00 p.m. R10 7 Te Akau Ben (7 g Tavistock – Danalaga) – CC Wong; he drew barrier 1 of 12 in the S$70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on the turf and carries 55.5kg. He has won three of his last six appearances, most recently over 1400 metres in July, and while he steps up in class, he brings right form to have honest first four claims.
