Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has 12 horses racing on Saturday 31 October at Kranji.

Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (Dec. 8) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and currently second with 40 wins this year.

6.00 p.m. R3 3 JR Malone (6 g Sepoy - Leone Chiara) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. Fresh-up in this event, he rates a top four chance.

7.00 p.m. R5 2 I Am Sacred (4 g I Am Invincible - Such A Princess) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. He disappointed last time on a wet track but he still presents as a top four contender.

7.30 p.m. R6 4 Amazing Choice (6 g Shocking - Choices Are) - Krisna Kumar (a2); drew the outside barrier (14) in the $30,000 Class 5 1800 metres on turf and carries 56kgs. He would be better suited in weaker field and with a wet track so if rain comes, that would suit him - one of three for trainer Mark Walker in this race.

7.30 p.m. R6 7 Red Riding Wood (7 g Redwood - Dreamcatcher) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 5 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1800 metres on turf and carries 58kgs. He is in good racing form, but has big weight (58kgs) to carry which makes his task more challenging.
