Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (Dec. 8) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and currently lies second with 44 wins this year.
5.30 p.m. R1 5 Amazing Choice (6 g Shocking - Choices Are) - CK Ng (a3); drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 54kgs. He needs more distance to make his presence felt.
5.30 p.m. R1 7 Hidden Promise (8 g Postponed - Promissory) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a3); drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 53.5kgs. He is another that requires more distance to pose a real threat.
5.30 p.m. R1 13 Red Riding Wood(7 g Redwood - Dreamcatcher) - unfixed; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. Ballot one, he unlikely to gain a start and, as with his stablemates, he needs more distance.
6.00 p.m. R2 12 Barbarian(4 g Redoute's Choice - Fume Blanc) - Benny Woodworth; drew the outside barrier (12) in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 54.5kgs. He will be ridden back from the awkward draw (12), and with that not in his favour, he looks a place chance.

7.00 p.m. R4 2 Hadeer (5 g Savabeel - A Real Princess) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 12 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. It a very tough draw (12), but he is enjoying good form and is an each way chance prospect.
7.30 p.m. R5 16 Cassius (3 g Street Boss - Je T'aime) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a3); drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on turf and carries 53.5kgs. He sits second on the ballot and looks unlikely to make the field.
8.00 p.m. R6 10 Big Regards (7 g Darci Brahma - Molly Coco) - Benny Woodworth; drew the outside barrier (14) in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 53kgs. He needs more distance to be a major player.

While talented, he steps out in very tough race and it would be hard to brim with confidence with the undoubted strength of the opposition. Nonetheless, he does possess ability.

The third contestant for Mark Walker in the Group 3 feature, likewise would have to bring his A game into play.
