Te Akau Singapore has 15 horses entered on Saturday 23 January at Kranji.

Trainer Mark Walker ended a pandemic interrupted season (27 Dec.) in second place with 45 wins. He was Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), and 2019, runner-up twice, third, and fourth, since setting up stables in 2010 at Kranji Racecourse.

6.00 p.m. R2 5 Marcus Antonius (3 g Sepoy - Panda's Turn) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kg. He needs to improve to be a danger here.

6.30 p.m. R3 1 I Am Sacred (4 g I Am Invincible - Such A Princess) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew the outside barrier (14) in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 54kg. He's sporting good form and can finish in the top four if he gets the rub of the green from the carpark draw (14).

7.00 p.m. R4 3 Showbound  (4 g Showcasing - Midnight Senorita) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on turf and carries 53.5kg. He is in solid form and looks a top four chance with luck from draw (9).

7.00 p.m. R4 12 Wednesday (3 g Super One - Shufetish) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a3); drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on turf and carries 51kg. He needs to lift his game to make an impact.

7.30 p.m. R5 1 Black Quail  (7 g Coats Choice - Sefidi) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a3); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 54kg. Enjoying  good form, he rates a top four prospect with any luck from tricky draw (9).

7.30 p.m. R5 4 Broadway Success  (5 g Alamosa - Broadway Express) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 54kg. He rates a top four proposition and has been working well.

8.00 p.m. R6 14 Our Secret Weapon  (3 g Outreach - Poppy's Pond) - unfixed; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 54kg. Ballot two, he looks unlikely to gain a start.

8.30 p.m. R7 3 Hidden Promise  (8 g Postponed - Promissory) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a3); drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1700 metres on the poly track and carries 55.5kg. He rates a top four chance in a race that suits him.

8.30 p.m. R7 14 Maximillian  (5 g Highly Recommended - Annabel Rose) - unfixed; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1700 metres on the poly track and carries 55.5kg. Ballot two, thus he is unlikely to gain a start.

9.00 p.m. R8 6 Brutus (4 g Rubick - Harvest Queen) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 55kg. He's another that has copped an awkward draw (10), if luck can go his way, he can figure in placings.

9.00 p.m. R8 11 Just Landed  (5 g Jimmy Choux - Lionstar) - Oscar Chavez; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 53.5kg. He ran well fresh, but may need more distance.

9.30 p.m. R9 7 Silent Partner  (5 g Dandy Man - Dolce Dovo) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a3); drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 52kg. He is a last start winner, but is up in grade here and is up to a first four placing in this.

10.00 p.m. R10 2 Cousteau  (6 g Exceed and Excel - Maritime) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 53.5kgs. He has a tough draw (10) to contend with thus rates a place chance with luck.
