Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has five horses racing for triple Group 1 day on Saturday 25 May at Kranji - with the Te Akau Singapore 2019 tour visitors on course.  Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker leads the Trainers' Premiership by six wins - sitting on 33 for the season with 31 second and 28 third placings.

8.45 p.m. R3 5 Mascot (4 g Redoute's Choice - Love Wings) - Callan Murray; drew barrier 10 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 55kgs. Will be ridden more patiently and he could be a place chance at odds.

9.45 p.m. R5 4 Barbeque  (4 g Helmet - Heat of the Fire) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 10 of 14 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. Disappointed after winning fresh-up, but with blinkers for the first time he could be a top four chance.

10.15 p.m. R6 1 Beau Geste  (4 g Street Cry - Haut Ton) - Nik Bakar; drew barrier 8 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 56kgs. Trialled beautifully on Tuesday, a horse we bought for the Derby, so trip a touch short, but in good order and top four prospects.

12.40 a.m. R10 5 Elite Power (5 g Sakhee's Secret - London Welsh) - Glen Boss; drew barrier 5 of 11 in the $85,000 Class 2 1400 metres on turf and carries 53.5kgs. He finished third last start, first time on the turf in Singapore, and a top four chance if he relaxes with cover.

12.40 a.m. R10 10 Richebourg (4 g Real Saga - Tallulah Bee) - MM Firdaus; drew barrier 5 of 11 in the $85,000 Class 2 1400 metres on turf and carries 49kgs. Dangerous lightweight chance and rates top four.
