Te Akau Singapore has 17 horses entered on Saturday 3 July at Kranji.

Currently second, Mark Walker was Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), and 2019, runner-up three times, third, and fourth, since Te Akau established its stable in 2010 at Kranji Racecourse.

 

4.00 p.m. R1 2 Our Secret Weapon  (3 g Outreach - Poppy's Pond) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1000 metres on poly-track and carries 57kg. In good form, he rates a top four contender.

5.00 p.m. R3 4 Master Ryker (5 g Sebring - Hanky Panky) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 58kg. With the top jockey engaged, he has the capacity to figure in the finish - the first of three in this event for Mark Walker.

5.00 p.m. R3 5 Man of Mystery  (6 g All Too Hard - Black Minx) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 53.5kg. In good form, he rates a top four chance with weight relief provided by Te Akau's in-form apprentice.

5.00 p.m. R3 10 Brutus  (4 g Rubick - Harvest Queen) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 53kg. In very good form, he has been working well enough to feature in the final four.

5.30 p.m. R4 4 Maximillian  (5 g Highly Recommended - Annabel Rose) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 12 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 56.5kg. He requires luck from the wide draw (12) - the first of a Mark Walker trio lining up here.

5.30 p.m. R4 7 Barbeque  (5 g Helmet - Heat of the Fire) - Shafiq Rusof; drew barrier 9 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 57.5kg. He has been disappointing to date and needs to step up.

5.30 p.m. R4 9 Lai Mak Mak(9 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 8 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kg. In good form, he looks a top four prospect.

6.00 p.m. R5 4 Sportscaster  (7 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy Dancer) - Shafiq Rusof; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1700 metres on poly-track and carries 55.5kg. He too is a first four contender.

6.30 p.m. R6 11 Sacred Judgement  (5 g So You Think - Rose Ransom) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew outside barrier (14) in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 50.5kg. He faces a tough draw (14) to navigate which makes this a challenging assignment for him..

6.30 p.m. R6 15 Silent Force  (6 g Oasis Dream - Priceless Jewel) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 5 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 51.5kg. Ballot one, he is unlikely to gain a start.

7.00 p.m. R7 2 Take A Chance  (3 g Star Witness - Hilylia) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1000 metres on poly-track and carries 56kg. He comes in fresh to this and has been working well which should see him competitive.

7.00 p.m. R7 7 Wednesday (3 g Super One - Shufetish) - CC Wong; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1000 metres on poly-track and carries 56kg. He needs to lift.

8.00 p.m. R9 5 Sound the Siren  (6 g Snitzel - Gussy Godiva) - CC Wong; drew barrier 7 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1700 metres on poly-track and carries 53.5kg. He needs to improve.

8.30 p.m. R10 2 Savvy Command  (4 g Savabeel - Best Command) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 6 of 11 in the $70,000 Class 3 1600 metres on turf and carries 57.5kg. In good form, he rates a top four chance.

8.30 p.m. R10 5 Axel (5 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew outside barrier (11) in the $70,000 Class 3 1600 metres on turf and carries 51.5kg. He requires luck from a difficult draw (11).

9.30 p.m. R12 1 Doc Hudson  (6 g Commands - Millyet) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 55kg. Back in class, he presents as a top four chance.

9.30 p.m. R12 2 Red Rover  (6 g O'Reilly - Pin Up) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 58kg. Another facing a difficult draw (10), he posted a good last start third and he is a top four proposition.
