Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has twelve horses racing on Saturday 15 June at Kranji.  Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker continues his dominant lead of the Trainers' Premiership.

7.00 p.m. R1 4 Lai Mak Mak (7 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 4 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 58kgs. A last start winner who rates a top four chance again.

8.00 p.m. R3 1 Cousteau (4 g Exceed and Excel -
Maritime) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100
metres on the poly track and carries 58.5kgs. He is ideally drawn (4) to rate a
top four chance.

8.30 p.m. R4 5 Another Show (3 g Showcasing - Tiaralae) - Callan Murray; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. He looks a place chance but he has been a touch disappointing - the first of two in the event for Mark Walker.

8.30 p.m. R4 11 Spokesman (4 g Alamosa - Panthera) - MM
Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1100 metres on the

9.00 p.m. R5 1 Keng Mak Mak (5 g Red Giant - Celtic Class) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 10 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 60kgs. He should perform better now back in Class 4 - one of two for the trainer lining up here.

9.00 p.m. R5 9 Clarton Palace (3 g Minstrel Court - Zabba) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 5 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 53kgs. He rises in class after consecutive wins and presents as a fourst four prospect.

9.35 p.m. R6 4 Cloudburst (4 g Pour Moi - November Rain) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. With a solid last start second under his belt, he rates a top four chance in another race with two stable representatives.

9.35 p.m. R6 7 Clarton Star (3 g Highly Recommended - Annabel Rose) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. This 3YO followed a win with a third last start and he again looks a top four contender.

10.40 p.m. R8 5 Broadway Success (3 g Alamosa -
Broadway Express) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 10 of 14 in the $30,000
Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. He requires luck from the draw
(10) to rate a place chance.

10.40 p.m. R8 12 Obstacles Free (5 g Coats Choice - Explain) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 11 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. The second runner for Mark Walker in this event, he is enjoying good form and any rain about would help in rating him a top four chance.

11.40 p.m. R10 5 Ka Chance (4 g Redoute's Choice - All Enfield) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. A good last start winner, he is up in class and he rates a place chance.

11.40 p.m. R10 14 O'Reilly Star (5 g O'Reilly - Starbelly) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 50kgs. Second on the ballot, a place chance if he makes the field.
