Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview
27 November, 2021
Te Akau Singapore has 12 horses entered on Saturday 27 November at Kranji. This is the final meeting for the 2021 season.
Currently leading the Singapore Trainers' Premiership with 65 wins, Mark Walker was Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins) and 2019, runner-up three times, third, and fourth, since Te Akau established its stable at Kranji in 2010.
5.00 p.m. R1 2 High Water (4 g Rubick - Purringa) - Jerlyn Seow (a3); drew barrier 13 of 14 in $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 56kg. A good first-up winner, he does require luck from a difficult draw (13) to figure in the finish.
5.30 p.m. R2 10 Sunset (3 g Frosted - Eagles Destiny) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 1 of 10 in $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1400 metres on turf and carries 50.5kg. The blinkers go on, the distance suits, and he rates each-way chance at good odds.
6.00 p.m. R3 7 Master Ryker (6 g Sebring - Hanky Panky) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier 10 of 12 in $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 53kg. The class rider jumps aboard and he rates a top four chance with any luck from a challenging draw (10) - the first of two in the event for Mark Walker.
6.00 p.m. R3 11 Elliot Ness (4 g Written Tycoon - Walk With Attitude) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 4 of 12 in $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 48.5kg. He rates a light weight chance.
7.00 p.m. R5 5 Exdream (6 g Dream Ahead - Sboog) - Manoel Nunes; drew barrier 1 of 12 in $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 54kg. Improved for his first-up run, he has the senior returning rider aboard and he has first five claims - the first of two for the trainer in this.
7.00 p.m. R5 6 King Arthur (4 g I Am Invincible - Pentasia) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 10 of 12 in $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 52kg. Forget his last run, he likes the poly and is among the top five prospects with luck from yet another tricky draw (10).
7.30 p.m. R6 4 Silent Force(6 g Oasis Dream - Priceless Jewel) - Jerlyn Seow (a3); drew barrier 4 of 14 in $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on turf and carries 55.5kg. He would appreciate any rain, and does claim three kilos to present as a top four chance.
9.00 p.m. R9 2 Street Cry Success (7 g Street Cry - Koala Bear) - Jerlyn Seow (a3); drew outside barrier (14) in $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 55kg. He certainly requires plenty of luck from a carpark draw (14) but the plan is to push forward.
9.00 p.m. R9 16 Speedy Missile (5 g Smart Missile - Telegraph Girl) - unfixed; drew barrier 13 of 14 in $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 55.5kg. Ballot two, he is unlikely to gain start.
10.00 p.m. R11 3 Sacred Gift (6 g Zoustar - Calcatta) - Jerlyn Seow (a3); drew barrier 11 of 12 in $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 53.5kg. He is in good form, but does require things to go his way luck from very difficult draw (11) to rate a top four chance.
10.00 p.m. R11 12 Reignite (4 g Sebring - Risk Aversion) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 1 of 12 in $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 51.5kg. He is a promising horse with a good draw (1), he has strong first four prospects.
10.00 p.m. R11 15 Augustano (7 g Hardspun - Lady of Letters) - unfixed; drew barrier 10 of 12 in $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 55kg. Ballot three, he is unlikely to gain start.
