Te Akau Singapore Saturday Preview
Date: 19 Nov 2022
Te Akau Singapore has 19 horses entered on Saturday 19 November at Kranji.
Te Akau trainer Donna Logan lies second in the Trainers' Premiership with 58 wins this year.
Training since 2018 in Singapore, Logan took over on 1 January from Mark Walker, who returned home to train the Te Akau team at Matamata.
Walker was Singapore Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), 2019, and 2021, also runner-up three times, third, and fourth.

5:30 p.m. R2 4 Deception (4 g I Am Invincible - Friday Hussy) - Simon Kok (a1); he drew barrier 2 of 10 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the turf and carries 53.5kg. 6:30 p.m. R4 1 Legacy Fortune (3 g Dragon Pulse - Gold Zain) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); he drew barrier 1 of 10 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the turf and carries 54.5kg. He went forward when winning three starts ago, and he's the type of individual that puts himself on the pace and he can maintain speed - the first of two stable representatives.
6:30 p.m. R4 3 Flashfast (4 g Dream Ahead - Ohmygod) - Jake Bayliss; he drew barrier 4 of 10 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the turf and carries 55.5kg. He was a course/distance Maiden winner in May, the blinkers go on and he rates a top four contender.

He improved his fitness for this with a nice trial and has ability to be fighting out the finish - the first of a stable trio lining up in the event.
8:00 p.m. R7 6 Rocky (4 g El Roca - Anthology) - Jake Bayliss; he drew barrier 5 of 10 in $75,000 Novice 1400 metres on the turf and he also is assigned 58kg. A consistent galloper, this is his first try at the distance but his breeding suits it, and he rates a top four chance.

9:00 p.m. R9 10 Entertainer (6 g Zoustar - Laughing) - Michael Dee; he drew barrier 8 of 10 in the $100,000 Tropaios Stakes (Class 1, 1200m) on the turf and carries a featherweight 50kg. Consistently in top four, he is however yet to win on the turf, but is certainly capable of surprising.

Race Preview: Mr Black Back talented stayer who is ideally placed here from the low draw under C Williams, the one to beat. Relentless had excuses last start when badly held up at a crucial stage in the race, he'll make a late bid. Minister's recent runs have been encouraging and can run well again. Super Impact overlook last start as there were genuine excuses, he can improve. Hong Kong Great has a top jockey in the saddle and that will help his chances, but he has a wide draw and top weight to defy.
10:35 p.m. R12 3 Stenmark (5 g Medaglia d'Oro - Scandiva) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); drew barrier 9 of 12 in $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 53kg. Ran good final 400m sectional last start and should race well again. Back
