Te Akau Singapore has seven horses entered on Saturday 25 February at Kranji.

Te Akau Singapore trainer Donna Logan ended her first season finishing second in the premiership.Training since 2018 in Singapore, Logan took over from Mark Walker on 1 January 2022. 

Walker was Singapore Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), 2019, and 2021, also runner-up three times, third, and fourth.

 

5:00 p.m. R1 2 Super Posh (7 g Super Easy - Posh Bec) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); he drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1000 metres on the poly-track and carries 55kg. He drops to Class 5 here and rates a top three chance, one of two for the stable to start the programme.

5:00 p.m. R1 8 Our Secret Weapon (5 g Outreach - Poppy's Pond) - Fadzli Yusoff (a2); he drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1000 metres on the poly-track and carries 54.5kg. He was a strong last start winner in the same grade, but requires a ton of luck from his wide draw (11).

6:00 p.m. R3 2 Axel (7 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Fadzli Yusoff (a2); he drew outside barrier (9) in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the turf and carries 55.5kg. He is likely get back from the tricky draw (9) and track the runners home, and any rain assists this dour competitor.

7:00 p.m. R5 6 Charmshaab (3 g Charm Spirit - Sehaab) - Louis Beuzelin; he drew barrier 7 of 10 in the $20,000 Maiden 1400 metres on the turf and carries 54.5kg. Stepping to 1400 metres should suit this horse and he presents as a first four chance.

7:30 p.m. R6 2 Luxury Brand (3 g Charm Spirit - Miss Gucci) - Fadzli Yusoff (a2); he drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the turf and carries 54.5kg. Another by Charm Spirit, he likes the turf, has trialled well, looks fit and rates a top three prospect.

9:30 p.m. R10 2 Trident (4 g Deep Field - Miss Fi) - Simon Kok (a2); he drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the turf and carries 56.5kg. He has a good record, with both his wins coming on the turf, and he has first four claims fresh-up.

10:30 p.m. R10 1 Entertainer (6 g Zoustar - Laughing) - Fadzli Yusoff (a2); he drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000m on the poly-track and carries 56kg. He enjoyed no favours last start, and is a proven performer at this level but he does require everything to go his way from his wide gate (11).
