Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview
Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 Trainers' Premiership winner Mark Walker again leads the Trainers' Premiership - now with 30 wins since 1 January (as at 22.4.16).

Sunday 24 April

4.40 p.m. R1 4 HOME RUN HERO - Manuel Nunes; lines up in the first on the short course (turf) A, has drawn nine and jumps from gate nine with 58kgs.  He's been a touch disappointing and needs to improve.

5.40 p.m. R3 8 VRAAD - Shafiq Rusof; in this field of 11, the winner two starts ago has drawn eight but carries just 52.5kgs.  He finds a suitable race here - will aim to ride him a touch more quietly from the barrier draw - a top four chance.

6.10 p.m. R4 6 MOLLY BROWNE - Manuel Nunes; top rider and drawn six in this 12 horse field, this mare carries 56.5kgs. She targets the 2000m for the first time which is a slight query but she is in good form and rate a top four chance.

8.15 p.m. R8 1 DAMON - Manuel Nunes; draws well (4) in this S$60,000 event, the first of two stable runners.  Carrying 57kgs, he is in very good form and is aiming for the hattrick.  The 2000m suits him at this point of his preparation - a top four chance.

8.15 p.m. R8 3 ROCKFAST - Shafiq Rusof; also draws a good gate (2) and carries 56.5kgs, the second of Mark Walker's representatives.  He is on the backup from last Friday and would like to see him ridden closer to the speed.  Any rain around will aid his chance - a top four chance.
