Te Akau Singapore has five horses racing on Sunday 6 January at Kranji.

6.10 p.m. R1 1 Astra (4 g Smart Missile - Indian Dream) - Benny Woodworth; draws barrier 4 of 10 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the polytrack and carries 57kgs. He needs to improve and gets his chance in Class 5 - one of two in the race for Mark Walker.

6.10 p.m. R1 7 Spokesman (4 g Alamosa - Panthera) - Vlad Duric; the second stable rep. will jump from the ace in the $30,000 event and carries 57kgs. He has been somewhat disappointing and could improve in Class 5.

6.40 p.m. R2 10 Wildfire (5 g Darci Brahma - Beautiful Girl) - Ismail Azhar; will break from gate 6 of 11 in the $20,000 Maiden 1000 metres on the polytrack and carries 57.5kgs. He too needs to improve.

10.45 p.m. R6 3 Gridiron (4 g Captain Gerard - Natural Lil) - Vlad Duric; draws barrier 6 of 9 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the polytrack and carries 56.5kgs. He needs to improve.

11.15 p.m. R7 6 Time Lord (4 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes) - Ismail Azhar; cops an awkward draw - 11 of 12 - in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the polytrack where he carries 53.5kgs. Though unfortunately drawn wide, he is in good form and rates a place chance.
