Sunday 1 May
4.40 p.m. R1 4 SECRET SPICE - Michael Rodd; draws wide (11) in this 14-strong field and carries 57kgs. The first of three Mark Walker runners in the event, she should prove more competitive now she has dropped back to Class 5. If she can get luck from the bad barrier draw, she rates a top four chance.
4.40 p.m. R1 10 APPELLATION - Shafiq Rusof; the second stable rep. draws no better (14) and carries 56kgs. The draw does make it tough and so he rates a place chance at best.
4.40 p.m. R1 11 HARDCORE ROCK - App S. Anandan (a1); draws barrier eight, the third of the Mark Walker team in this race. Carrying 55.5kgs, he needs rain to show his best and we will assess Sunday's run.

10.00 p.m. R11 1 ASPEN - App CK Ng (a3); some relief for the top weight with the three kilo claim - so now carrying 54.5kgs as he attempts to emulate the effort that saw him win two starts ago. Kept fresh for this, he seems to strike his favourite distance and any rain would be a massive assist.
