Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has seven horses racing on Sunday 5 May at Kranji. Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker leads the Trainers' Premiership by four wins with 28 for the season - and 27 second and 23 third placings.

5.10 p.m. R1 4 Luck Mak Mak (5 g Alamosa - Danewhisper) - Harry Kasim; drew the outside barrier (12) in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 60kgs. First time back in Class 5 and he rates a chance at odds.

5.40 p.m. R2 13 Astra (4 g Smart Missile - Indian
Dream) - Jaun Paul Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4
1100 metres on the poly track and carries 52kgs. Disappointed last start and will
be ridden patiently from a wide draw.

7.45 p.m. R6 9 Sportscaster (5 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy Dancer) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 7 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1800 metres on turf and carries 55kgs. Head-scratcher after his last run, tongue tie goes on and he can improve.

8.50 p.m. R8 2 Barbeque (4 g Helmet - Heat of the Fire) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 2 of 14 in the $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. A very nice newcomer to the stable that would have been unlucky if beaten in his first start here, rates a top four chance up in distance.

8.50 p.m. R8 6 Time Lord (4 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $70,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. Backs up quickly, visor blinkers go on, and he can improve on the turf.

9.25 p.m. R9 2 Elite Invincible (5 g Archarcharch - Dough on the Go) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $175,000 Moonbeam Vase (Gr. 3, 1600m) on turf and carries 57kgs. Our Gold Cup winner, in good form, always races in strong fields, and is a top four chance.

10.00 p.m. R10 2 Richebourg (4 g Real Saga - Tallulah
Bee) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 7 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on
turf and carries 59.5kgs. Racing in really good form and again rates a top four
chance.
