Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has fourteen horses racing on Sunday 30 June at Kranji. Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership by 14, with 45 wins this year.

5.20 p.m. R1 12 Broadway Success (3 g Alamosa - Broadway Express) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 8 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. He went a good race for second last start but is slightly awkward draw (8) - any rain about would aid his top three prospects.

5.20 p.m. R1 15 Venus De Milo (4 m Burgundy - Breezed) - rider unfixed; drew barrier 13 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 54.5kgs. She sits at one on the ballot and may not gain a start.

6.20 p.m. R3 3 Time to Rock  (5 m Time Thief - Six O'clock Rock) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. She is in solid form, is ideally drawn (2) and she rates a top four chance in a race where the stable lines up two prospects.

6.20 p.m. R3 10 Red Rover (4 g O'Reilly - Pin Up) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 55.5kgs. He trialled very well, however he is yet another with a slightly difficult draw (8) but still has claims to be among the top four prospects.

6.50 p.m. R4 13 Try Mak Mak  (2 g Makfi - Shamabelle) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 4 of 13 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on turf and carries 49.5kgs. He trialled last well last and looks a top four chance with blinkers going on.

7.55 p.m. R6 10 Obstacles Free (5 g Coats Choice - Explain) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 4 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 57.5kgs. He is enjoying good form and any rain about would help in presenting him as a top four chance.

8.25 p.m. R7 5 Viviano  (7 g Keeper - Flying Florence) - Ismail Azhar; drew the outside barrier (14) in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 53.5kgs. He needs rain and is another with a car park draw (14) in this event with two Mark Walker runners.

8.25 p.m. R7 6 Sacred Sham (5 g O'Reilly - Mexican Rose) - Daniel Moor; drew barrier 2 of 14 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 52.5kgs. He was a strong last start winner and figures as a top four chance despite stepping up in grade.

8.55 p.m. R8 3 Cousteau  (4 g Exceed and Excel - Maritime) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 59.5kgs. Again another stable rep. with a wide draw tonight (11), but if there is plenty of speed in the race this could enable him to feature in a top four finish. Two step out for the stable in this event.

8.55 p.m. R8 6 Man of Mystery (4 g All Too Hard - Black Minx) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. He is racing well, has a good draw and top rider, thus rates a top four chance with visor blinkers on.

9.25 p.m. R9 10 Sacred Croix (4 g Savabeel - Croix Du Sud) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 9 of 16 in the $400,000 Stewards' Cup (Gr. 2, 1600m) on turf and carries 57kgs. In great form, winning four and finishing second in his last five starts. He rates a top four chance in the feature Group 2 event where Mark Walker presents three candidates.

9.25 p.m. R9 11 Elite Remarkable  (4 g Sebi Halo - Baaltis) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 11 of 16 in the $400,000 Stewards' Cup (Gr. 2, 1600m) on turf and carries 57kgs. He needs to improve on what he has shown so far.

9.25 p.m. R9 17 Richebourg  (4 g Real Saga - Tallulah Bee) - JP Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 3 of 16 in the $400,000 Stewards' Cup (Gr. 2, 1600m) on turf and carries 57kgs. Ballot one and he may not gain a start.

10.00 p.m. R10 3 Keng Mak Mak  (5 g Red Giant - Celtic Class) - Harry Kasim; drew the outside barrier (14) in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 59kgs. Another stable runner who has copped a terrible draw (14) but could be a place chance with any luck in the running and he'd need plenty.
