Te Akau Singapore has eleven horses racing on Sunday 7 July at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership by 11, with 46 wins this year.
5.10 p.m. R1 2 Astra (4 g Smart Missile - Indian
Dream) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200
metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. He needs to improve - the first of
three in the event for Mark Walker.
5.10 p.m. R1 3 Luck Mak Mak (5 g Alamosa -
Danewhisper) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200
metres on the poly track and carries 59kgs. He is unpredictable, but does have place
chance prospects.
5.10 p.m. R1 6 Success Come True (5 m Alamosa -
Falaniella) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200
metres on the poly track and carries 58.5kgs. She rates a place chance.
6.40 p.m. R4 2 Admiral Winston (2 g Declaration of War
- Montclair) - Vlad Duric; drew the outside barrier (13) in the $75,000 2YO
1200 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. Finished first and second in his first
two starts but unfortunately has a wide draw (13) to contend with - however he
is a promising individual and has top four prospects with some luck.
7.45 p.m. R6 10 Sportscaster (5 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy
Dancer) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100
metres on the poly track and carries 51kgs. He requires more distance and a
drop back to Class 5.
8.50 p.m. R8 2 Time Lord (4 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes)
- Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1600 metres on the
poly track and carries 59.5kgs. He rates a place chance with luck from a wide
draw (11) in a race where the stable lines up three runners.
8.50 p.m. R8 4 Augustus (4 g Snitzel - Gussy Godiva) -
Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1600 metres on the
poly track and carries 57.5kgs. Another with an awkward draw (9) and he
presents as an each-way chance with luck.
8.50 p.m. R8 5 Richebourg (4 g Real Saga - Tallulah
Bee) - JP Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1600
metres on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. Ideally drawn (4) to rate a top
three chance after not getting a start off the ballot last week.
9.25 p.m. R9 7 Federation (3 g Written Tycoon -
Bloomingdale Miss) - John Powell; drew barrier 4 of 13 in the $70,000 Class 3
1200 metres on turf and carries 55kgs. Winner of his last two, he is up in
grade but can make his presence felt for certain.
9.55 p.m. R10 2 Lai Mak Mak (7 g O'Reilly - Pretty) -
Harry Kasim; drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf
and carries 58kgs. An unpredictable horse but a place chance - with two in the
event for trainer Mark Walker.
9.55 p.m. R10 11 Atlantic Fox (5 g Savabeel - Kinsella)
- JP Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 8 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on
turf and carries 53.5kgs. Rain about would help rate him a top four chance.
