Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has twelve horses racing on Sunday 28 July at Kranji. Te Akau Singapore trainer Mark Walker leads the Trainers' Premiership by 13, with 50 wins this year.

5.20 p.m. R1 9 Cloudburst  (4 g Pour Moi - November Rain) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. He has a tricky barrier draw to contend with (9) but can be a top four prospect with luck.

5.50 p.m. R2 8 Barbarian  (2 g Redoute's Choice - Fume Blanc) - J P Van Der Merwe; drew barrier 4 of 13 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on turf and carries 50kgs. He is expected to improve on the turf and rates a top four chance.

6.20 p.m. R3 6 Black Quail  (5 g Coats Choice - Sefidi) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 6 of 10 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 54kgs. He needs rain to show his best.

7.55 p.m. R6 1 Elite Power (5 g Sakhee's Secret - London Welsh) - Rawali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $85,000 Class 2 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. He is better over more distance, but he rates a place chance in a race with three stable representatives.

7.55 p.m. R6 2 Sacred Rebel (4 g Sepoy - Pandoro De Lago) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 1 of 11 in the $85,000 Class 2 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. He is a very good horse on the poly and should hard to beat - the second of ark Walker's three starters in this event.

7.55 p.m. R6 7 Sacred Sham  (5 g O'Reilly - Mexican Rose) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 3 of 11 in the $85,000 Class 2 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 51kgs. He is ideally drawn (3) to rate a place chance.

8.25 p.m. R7 6 Venus De Milo (4 m Burgundy - Breezed) - Rawali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 3 of 11 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. She is nicely drawn (3) to rate a top four chance.

8.25 p.m. R7 13 Clarton Star (3 g Highly Recommended - Annabel Rose) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 59.5kgs. He sits at one on the ballot and is unlikely to gain a start.

9.25 p.m. R9 2 Elite Invincible (5 g Archarcharch - Dough on the Go) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 9 of 10 in the $175,000 Jumbo Jet Trophy (Gr. 3, 1400m) on turf and carries 58kgs. The Singapore Gold Cup (Gr. 1, 2000m) winner last season, did disappoint somewhat in an earlier campaign - however off a break, he can feature in the top four.

10.00 p.m. R10 3Lai Mak Mak (7 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - Rawali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 13 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. The wide draw (13) makes it tough, but he does have some place prospects with luck. The first of a Mark Walker trio in the last.

10.00 p.m. R10 11 Amazing Choice (4 g Shocking - Choices Are) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 7 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on turf and carries 52.5kgs. Last start winner, he goes up in grade here but can figure in the first four.

10.00 p.m. R10 16 Atlantic Fox  (5 g Savabeel - Kinsella) - unfixed; drew barrier 12 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on turf and carries 52kgs. He is second on the ballot and is unlikely to gain a start.
