Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has five horses racing on Sunday 11 August at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership by 14, with 53 wins this year.

6.40 p.m. R4 3 Lai Mak Mak (8 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - Rawali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 4 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. He posted a good last start fourth from a wide barrier and enjoys a better draw and thus top four prospects.

7.40 p.m. R6 2 O'Reilly Star (6 g O'Reilly - Starbelly) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 58.5kgs. He appears nicely placed in this field to rate a top four chance - one of two for Mark Walker in this event.

7.40 p.m. R6 3 Accumulation (5 g Rip Van Winkle - Vega Sicila) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 59kgs. He has copped a difficult barrier draw (11), but rates a top four chance with luck.

8.15 p.m. R7 1 Elite Power (5 g Sakhee's Secret - London Welsh) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 2 of 8 in the $85,000 Class 2 1200 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. In good form, he is ideally drawn (2) and rates a top four prospect.

9.45 p.m. R10 9 Heart of Courage (5 g Fastnet Rock - Myrrh) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 54kgs. A solid last start fourth, and on the back of that, he presents as a top four contender.
