Te Akau Singapore has nine horses racing on Sunday 25 August at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership by 14, with 55 wins this year.
5.10 p.m. R1 1 Atlantic Fox (6 g Savabeel - Kinsella) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 59kgs. Back in class, he rates a top four chance - one of three in the first race on the programme for trainer , Te Akau's Mark Walker
5.10 p.m. R1 2 Hidden Promise (7 g Postponed - Promissory) - MM Firdaus (a1); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 59kgs. Back in class, he is ideally drawn (2) and looks a top four chance.
5.10 p.m. R1 5 Red Riding Wood (6 g Redwood - Dreamcatcher) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 60kgs. Back in class here but he might be better with some give in the track.
6.40 p.m. R4 4 Sacred Guru (6 g Savabeel - Biriyani) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. Better with rain but he still rates a top four prospect.
7.10 p.m. R5 6 Spokesman (5 g Alamosa - Panthera) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew the outside barrier (11) in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on turf and carries 55kgs. Awkwardly drawn (11), but top four prospects in a weak field.
8.15 p.m. R7 5 Viviano (7 g Keeper - Flying Florence) - J P Van der Merwe; drew barrier 1 of 13 in the $85,000 Class 2 1400 metres on turf and carries 53kgs. He is an older horse now and may require a drop to Class 3 to again be competitive.
8.50 p.m. R8 6 Distinctive Darci (6 g Darci Brahma - Distinctive Lass) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $400,000 Merlion Trophy (Gr. 2, 1200m) on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. In great form and has top four prospects in a very tough field - the first of two in the feature for Mark Walker.
8.50 p.m. R8 9 Sacred Rebel (5 g Sepoy - Pandoro De Lago) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $400,000 Merlion Trophy (Gr. 2, 1200m) on the poly track and carries 57.5kgs. He has won three of his last five, so no doubting his talent however he faces his toughest test to date here.
9.25 p.m. R9 10 Heart of Courage (5 g Fastnet Rock - Myrrh) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 8 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on turf and carries 53kgs. He may require a drop back to Class 5 to make his presence felt.
