Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has eight horses racing on Sunday 22 September at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker continues his dominant lead on the Trainers' Premiership of 18, with 63 wins this year.

4.40 p.m. R1 1 Atlantic Fox (6 g Savabeel - Kinsella) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 60kgs. He can be a bit of a head-scratcher, but he rates a top four chance.  The first of three in the event for trainer Mark Walker.

4.40 p.m. R1 7 Obstacles Free  (6 g Coats Choice - Explain) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 3 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 59.5kgs. He would love some rain, but can be considered among the top four prospects.

4.40 p.m. R1 11 Broadway Success (4 g Alamosa - Broadway Express) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 3 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 1400 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. He would love some rain, but does have the potential of a top four finish.

5.40 p.m. R3 3 Time to Rock (6 m Time Thief - Six O'clock Rock) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 5 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. She disappointed first-up on the poly track, and returns to the turf here, and she is another who would relish any rain.

6.10 p.m. R4 5 Libran Son (3 g Burgundy - Aventura) - Alysha Collett; drew barrier 5 of 11 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. He ran a good third on debut, but meets a stronger field, yet still can be included as a top five chance.

9.20 p.m. R10 8 Elite Invincible  (6 g Archarcharch - Dough on the Go) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 6 of 16 in the $800,000 Raffles Cup (Gr. 1, 1600m) on turf and carries 58kgs. He has been a bit out of form, however the trainer has tried a few different things in training - he does meet a very strong field in the feature.

9.55 p.m. R11 4 Beau Geste  (5 g Street Cry - Haut Ton) - C K Ng (a3); drew barrier 6 of 13 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 55.5kgs. Fresh-up, with a three-kilo apprentice claim, he can be rated as a top four chance with luck in running.  The first of two in this event for the stable.

9.55 p.m. R11 9 Street Cry Success  (5 g Street Cry - Koala Bear) - Alysha Collett; drew barrier 5 of 13 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 56.5kgs. A lovely addition to the stable and strong each way chance despite not having raced for awhile.
