Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview
3 November, 2019
Te Akau Singapore has seven horses racing on Sunday 3 November at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker leads the premiership by 17, with 70 wins this year.
6.25 p.m. R2 2 Barbarian (3 g Redoute's Choice - Fume Blanc) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. Stronger in this preparation, blinkers on, better over more ground but he rates a top four chance.
6.55 p.m. R3 7 Admiral Winston (3 g Declaration of War - Montclair) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 1 of 10 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 51kgs. Better over more distance, but he still rates a top four chance.
8.35 p.m. R6 2 Fulife Brilliance (4 g Van Nistelrooy - Holy Sunset) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 3 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. He rates a top four chance fresh-up.
10.15 p.m. R9 3 Red Rover (5 g O'Reilly - Pin Up) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 56.5kgs. Going for three in a row, which is always hard to do, and he rates a top four chance.
10.15 p.m. R9 10 Man of Mystery (5 g All Too Hard - Black Minx) - Nizar Noor (a4); drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 50kgs. Awkwardly drawn (8), but rates a lightweight chance with luck.
10.15 p.m. R9 14 Cousteau (5 g Exceed and Excel - Maritime) - rider unfixed; drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 53.5kgs. He is second on the ballot and unlikely to gain a start.
10.45 p.m. R10 4 Ka Chance (5 g Redoute's Choice - All Enfield) - Razali Zawari (a1); drew barrier 4 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 55.5kgs. Returns after a wind operation and likely to improve over more distance.
