Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has eleven horses racing on Sunday 8 December at Kranji. Trainer Mark Walker leads the Trainers' Premiership by 11, with 73 wins this year.
This is the last meeting for the current season, which recommences on 1 January, and is another Premiership win to outstanding trainer Mark Walker.
Recording his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, alongside wins in the 2015 and 2017, Walker ended last season in fourth place on the Premiership table and the leading Kiwi trainer. The winner of five training premierships in New Zealand, Walker has also finishing second and third since heading to Singapore to establish our operation in 2010.
5.45 p.m. R2 2 Barbarian (3 g Redoute's Choice - Fume Blanc) - C K Ng (a3); drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 54kgs. He is unfortunately awkwardly drawn (11), but looks place chance if able to overcome it. One of two in the event for Mark Walker.
5.45 p.m. R2 4 Try Mak Mak (3 g Makfi - Shamabelle) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. He has improved for a spell and rates a definite top four contender.
6.20 p.m. R3 3 Bionics (4 g Hinchinbrook - Bionic Girl) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. He is a nice horse that may prefer the turf, but still has top four claims. Again a race with two stable reps.
6.20 p.m. R3 9 Win Mak Mak (4 g Excelebration - Elusive Desire) - Alysha Collett; drew the outside barrier (12) in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 54kgs. He has been disappointing and he may be better suited to racing in Malaysia.
6.55 p.m. R4 1 Brutus (3 g Rubick - Harvest Queen) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 8 of 11 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. A nice type, he's another awkwardly drawn (8) and while better suited over more ground, he still rates a place chance.
8.10 p.m. R6 2 Time Lord (5 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes) - C K Ng (a3); drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 54kgs. He is second-up after a wind operation and he rates a top four chance in an event with two for the trainer.
8.10 p.m. R6 10 Beau Geste (5 g Street Cry - Haut Ton) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 55kgs. Unknown on the poly track, but the 5YO rates a top four chance if he appreciates it.
10.00 p.m. R9 1 Distinctive Darci (6 g Darci Brahma - Distinctive Lass) - Nizar Noor (a4); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $100,000 Flying Fulton Stakes (Class 1, 1100m) on the poly track and carries 55kgs. He has weight relief and he rates a place chance. One of two Mark Walker runners in this Class 1 feature.
10.00 p.m. R9 4 Sacred Rebel (5 g Sepoy - Pandoro De Lago) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $100,000 Flying Fulton Stakes (Class 1, 1100m) on the poly track and carries 54kgs. In good form, he rates a top four contender.
11.00 p.m. R11 4Bright Sun (4 m Snitzel - Overblik) - Ismail Azhar; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 56kgs. She is likely to be better on turf, but rates a place chance in the event with two for the trainer.
11.00 p.m. R11 12 Admiral Winston (3 g Declaration of War - Montclair) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 51.5kgs. Racing in really good form, he rates a top four chance. This race features the final two runners for Te Akau and Mark Waker for the season.
