Te Akau Singapore has 17 horses racing on Sunday 26 July at Kranji. 





Trainer Mark Walker ended last season (8 Dec.) with 73 wins to claim his third title as Singapore Champion Trainer, and currently one behind in second with 23 wins this year. 









4.30 p.m. R2 7 Happy Friday (3 g Shooting to Win - Enide) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. He is likely to be better suited on turf and over more distance. One of two in the race for the stable.





4.30 p.m. R2 11 Marcus Antonius (2 g Sepoy - Panda's Turn) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 50kgs. He faces a difficult draw (10) for his first start, but nonetheless he rates a place chance.





5.00 p.m. R3 13 Broadway Success  (4 g Alamosa - Broadway Express) - unfixed; drew barrier 1 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 50kgs. He is first emergency and unlikely to gain a start.





5.30 p.m. R4 1 Brutus  (3 g Rubick - Harvest Queen) - Ruan Maia; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. He is enjoying good form and he presents as a top four contender. Another event with two Mark Walker runners.





5.30 p.m. R4 11 Cassius  (2 g Street Boss - Je T'aime) - JP Van der Merwe; drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 50kgs. He is likely to be better suited on turf and over more distance.





6.30 p.m. R6 3 Sportscaster  (6 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy Dancer) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 4 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track on carries 58.5kgs. Well short of his best, but he can be a top four chance fresh-up in a race with two for the trainer.





6.30 p.m. R6 4 Amazing Choice  (5 g Shocking - Choices Are) - CK Ng (a3); drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track on carries 54.5kgs. He is likely to be better suited on turf and over more distance.





7.00 p.m. R7 5 Viviano  (8 g Keeper - Flying Florence) - Ryan Munger; drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track on carries 55.5kgs. The first of two entered in this for Mark Walker - he is an older horse better placed in Class 4.





7.00 p.m. R7 14 Time Lord  (5 g Guillotine - Mary Agnes) - unfixed; drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track on carries 57kgs. He is second emergency and unlikely to gain a start.





7.30 p.m. R8 1 Showbound  (3 g Showcasing - Midnight Senorita) - Benny Woodworth; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 59kgs. He may carry the top weight but he rates a top four chance. - one of two stable representatives.





7.30 p.m. R8 8 Barbarian  (3 g Redoute's Choice - Fume Blanc) - Ismail Saifudin; drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 51kgs. A well bred gelding, he is in moderate form but can apply pressure for a top four position.





8.30 p.m. R10 2 Beau Geste (5 g Street Cry - Haut Ton) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200 metres on the poly track on carries 53kgs. He trialled well and he rates a top four contender.





9.00 p.m. R11 3 Red Riding Wood  (6 g Redwood - Dreamcatcher) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 54kgs. He is better suited to more distance.





9.30 p.m. R12 5 Elite Power (6 g Sakhee's Secret - London Welsh) - Ruan Maia; drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $85,000 Class 2 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 55kgs. Wide draw (11) for the first of two in this Class 2 affair, but look to a top four finish with any luck in tough field.





9.30 p.m. R12 14 Altair  (4 g Zoustar - Rossarita) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $85,000 Class 2 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 50kgs. Trialling well, he rates a top three chance in tough field.





10.00 p.m. R13 3 JR Malone  (5 g Sepoy - Leone Chiara) - Ruan Maia; drew barrier 8 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 58kgs. Trialled well, but No. 1 looks a special.





10.30 p.m. R14 1 Inherit  (4 g Pierro - In the Future) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a4); drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly track and carries 55kgs. Drops in class here and with some luck from draw (10), he can put pressure on this field.
