Te Akau Singapore has 18 horses entered on Sunday 22 August at Kranji.

Currently second (two behind leader), Mark Walker was Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), and 2019, runner-up three times, third, and fourth, since Te Akau established its stable at Kranji Racecourse in 2010.

4.00 p.m. R1 5 Silent Force (6 g Oasis Dream - Priceless Jewel) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 59kg. He drops to Class 5 and rates a top four chance, despite a tricky draw.

4.30 p.m. R2 12 Marcus Antonius  (4 g Sepoy - Panda's Turn) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 6 of 14 in the $30,000 Class 5 2000 metres on turf and carries 50kg. This distance will suit him and he looks a top four chance.

5.00 p.m. R3 2 Street Cry Success  (7 g Street Cry - Koala Bear) - Vlad Duric; drew barrier 5 of 14 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on turf and carries 59kg. He posted a top run fresh-up for third, any rain helps his prospects and he is capable of a first four finish - one of a Mark Walker trio in the event.

He was a gritty last start winner in the same grade, however he is awkwardly (9) drawn.  Any rain would be an assist to him and he presents as a first four hope.

8.00 p.m. R9 5 Federation  (6 g Written Tycoon - Bloomingdale Miss) - Jerlyn Seow (a4); drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $70,000 Kranji C 1400 metres on the turf and carries 54kg. Awkwardly drawn (9) in a tough field, he rates a place chance - one of two in the event for the trainer.

In a race wityh three Mark Walker runners, the first is this 6YO who drops to Class 4.  He has an awkward draw (9) to contend with but can rank in the top four prospects if it rains.
