Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has 15 horses entered on Sunday 29 August at Kranji.

Currently second (one behind leader), Mark Walker was Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), and 2019, runner-up three times, third, and fourth, since setting up stables in 2010 at Kranji Racecourse.

4.30 p.m. R2 7 Maximillian (6 g Highly Recommended - Annabel Rose) - Marc Lerner; drew outside barrier (12) in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on poly-track and carries 56.5kg. Drawn widest (12), with luck in the running from the awkward gate, he rates a place chance - one of a Mark Walker duo in this race.

4.30 p.m. R2 9 Accumulation  (7 g Rip Van Winkle - Vega Sicila) - CC Wong; drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on poly-track and carries 55kg. He too has drawn wide (10), however if the race is run at a strong pace, he has top four prospects.

5.00 p.m. R3 2 Master Ryker  (5 g Sebring - Hanky Panky) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 6 of 11 in the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 57kg. He was desperately unlucky last start and he is a realistic top four proposition.

5.30 p.m. R4 10 Walim  (3 g Tourist - I Be Me) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 5 of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 53kg. He is capable of a first four finish.

5.30 p.m. R4 15 Rusty Rust (4 g Darci Brahma - More Than A Chance) - unfixed; drew outside barrier (12) in the $20,000 Maiden 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 57.5kg. He sits at ballot three and is unlikely to gain start.

6.00 p.m. R5 6 Exdream  (6 g Dream Ahead - Sboog) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 54kg. He rates a top four chance if the race is run at strong pace.

6.00 p.m. R5 16 Inherit  (6 g Pierro - In the Future) - unfixed; drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 52.5kg. Currently number four on the ballot, he is unlikely to gain a start.

6.30 p.m. R6 7 Sportscaster  (8 g Fastnet Rock - Gypsy Dancer) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 53.5kg. He does need further, but can fill a place in this field.

7.00 p.m. R7 7 Hidden Promise  (9 g Postponed - Promissory) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 2 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1600 metres on poly-track and carries 53.5kg. Ideally drawn (2), he can certainly figure in the finish.

7.30 p.m. R8 4 Aftermath  (4 g Spirit of Boom - Elusive Gift) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 2 of 9 the $50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 54kg. He is drawn to advantage (2), and has first four claims.

8.00 p.m. R9 14 Broadway Success  (6 g Alamosa - Broadway Express) - unfixed; drew outside barrier (12) in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on poly-track and carries 55.5kg.  He is currently second on the ballot and is unlikely to make the field.

8.30 p.m. R10 6 Super Invincible  (5 g I Am Invincible - Isstoora) - Moha Zaki; drew outside barrier (12) in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on poly-track and carries 55.5kg.  He has the widest gate to contend with (12), but if he has any luck in the running he can deliver a dividend - one of three in the event for Mark Walker.

8.30 p.m. R10 9 Entertainer  (5 g Zoustar - Laughing) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 10 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on poly-track and carries 51.5kg. The second stable runner has also copped a wide alley (10), so with luck he rates a place chance.

8.30 p.m. R10 10 Man of Mystery  (7 g All Too Hard - Black Minx) - Harry Kasim; drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $70,000 Class 3 1000 metres on poly-track and carries 53.5kg. The third for the trainer requires a drop to Class 4 to make his presence felt.

9.00 p.m. R11 5 Doc Hudson  (7 g Commands - Millyet) - Aiman Kamaruddin (a2); drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on poly-track and carries 53kg. He needs a drop to Class 5 to show his best.
