Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 Trainers' Premiership winner Mark Walker lies in second position on the Trainers' Premiership, with 41 wins (one win behind the leader).

4.40 p.m. R1 2 ASHQAR - App Y Salim (a4); an apprentice claim takes this runner down to 53kgs in the first Class 5 event where he has drawn gate eight in this capacity field of 14. He is in good form currently and as such rates a top four chance.

6.10 p.m. R4 5 WALTER'S BAY- Shafiq Rizuan; he draws barrier three with 57kgs on his back for Singapore and Te Akau's champion former apprentice. He has been disappointing and needs to step up improve.

6.40 p.m. R5 10 HELLO MICHELLE - Harry Kasim; the only 2YO in this field of 10 starters, she has enjoyed good form in her three Singapore starts with a fourth on debut, followed by a win and another fourth, against very good juvenile company. She has drawn well with the ace and carries only 50kgs in this S$75,000 Novice affair. With this form and the lightweight, she rates a top four chance.

7.10 p.m. R6 1 APPELLATION - App CK Ng (a3); this consistent performer had no luck last start and tonight the joint top weight will take benefit from the 3 kgs apprentice claim - carrying 56kgs from the handy barrier draw of four. The first of two stable runners for Mark Walker in this full field of 14, he rates a top four chance on prior form this prep.
7.10 p.m. R6 3 SECRET SPICE - Manuel Nunes; the second runner for the stable, she has drawn seven and carried 59kgs with the top rider aboard. Back in Class 5 on the turf, she is going well and despite the top weight has to rate a top four chance.

7.45 p.m. R7 4 TURQUOISE KING - Manuel Nunes; again two stable representatives, here in the Class 3 1400 on the turf. Neither has fared well draw-wise, this gelding copping 14 in the 14 horse line-up. He will need luck from the car park but Nunes is the man to do that.
7.45p.m. R7 5 IKING - App Y Salim (a4); the second starter for the stable has only drawn one better than his stablemate (13) but with the apprentice allowance is weighted at 51.5kgs. He is holding good form but with the draw disadvantage, rates a place chance, up in grade here.

9.25 p.m. R10 2 DAMON - Manuel Nunes; the 4YO son of O'Reilly draws nicely at three and is weighted with 58.5kgs for the champion rider in the open benchmark 67 on the turf long course A. The first of two for Mark Walker he is in good form, and presents as a top five chance.
9.25 p.m. R10 7 EN CIVIL - Shafiq Rusof; the second of the stable duo, he has drawn out (13) and carries 56.5kgs - enjoying solid form, he rates a top four chance.
