Te Akau Singapore has 10 horses entered on Sunday 16 April at Kranji.
Te Akau Singapore trainer Donna Logan ended her first season finishing second in the premiership, and currently fourth. Training since 2018 in Singapore, Logan took over from Mark Walker on 1 January 2022.
Walker was Singapore Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), 2019, and 2021, also runner-up three times, third, and fourth.
4:00 p.m. R1 12 Rahotu (6 g Invincible Spirit - Insoumise) - Zyrul Azman (a2); he drew barrier 7 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly-track and carries 49kg. He is looking to improve.
4:00 p.m. R1 14 Wednesday (5 g Super One - Shufetish) - unfixed; he drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $30,000 Class 5 1100 metres on the poly-track and carries 50kg , however he sits at two on the ballot and is unlikely to make the field.
4:30 p.m. R2 7 Charmshaab (3 g Charm Spirit - Sehaab) - Louis Beuzelin; he drew barrier 8 of 10 in the $20,000 Maiden 1400 metres on the turf and carries 55.5kg. He is another looking to improve.
5:00 p.m. R3 6 God's Gift (6 g Haradasun - Criquette) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); he drew the outside barrier (10) in the $30,000 Class 5 2000 metres on the turf and carries 50.5kg. While he disappointed last week, his work has been solid since and he rates a top four chance at his best.
5:30 p.m. R4 5 Deception (4 g I Am Invincible - Friday Hussy) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew barrier 2 of 7 in the $50,000 Class 4 1600 metres on the turf and carries 50kg. He is better than recent form indicates and looks a top three chance.
6:30 p.m. R6 2 Our Final Offer (5 g Deep Field - Egyptian Melody) - Jamil Sarwi (a4); he drew barrier 7 of 9 in the $20,000 Maiden 1400 metres on the turf and carries 54kg. He has posted a good effort at his last two starts, should appreciate distance, and presents as a top three chance.
7:00 p.m. R7 4 Rocky (4 g El Roca - Anthology) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew barrier 3 of 11 in the $30,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly-track and carries 51kg. Her is a last start winner and does go up in grade, however he is ideally drawn (3), is continuing to improve and is capable of finishing in the first three.
8:00 p.m. R9 4 Entertainer (6 g Zoustar - Laughing) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew barrier 2 of 9 in the $70,000 Class 3 1200m on the turf and carries 54kg. His last start was better than it looked and he can be competitive in this grade.
8:30 p.m. R10 1 King Arthur (5 g I Am Invincible - Pentasia) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew barrier 3 of 8 in the $100,000 Class 1 1100 metres on the poly-track and carries 57kg. He is in solid form, and does have a big weight to carry, however he is ideally drawn (3) and rates a top three chance.
9:00 p.m. R11 3 Axel (7 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Yusoff Fadzli (a2); he drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 55kg. He has recorded five of eight wins at this distance, any rain helps, and this model of consistency should be competitive.
