Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has five horses entered Sunday 14 May at Kranji.

Te Akau Singapore trainer Donna Logan ended her first season finishing second in the premiership, and currently fifth.  Training since 2018 in Singapore, Logan took over from Mark Walker on 1 January 2022.

Walker was Singapore Champion Trainer in 2015, 2017 (record 87 wins), 2019, and 2021, also runner-up three times, third, and fourth.

4:30 p.m. R2 3 King Gee (3 g Invader - Cariad) - Bernardo Pinheiro; he drew barrier 2 of 10 in the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the turf and carries 57kg. While he is still learning, he is ideally drawn (2) to show improvement.

8:30 p.m. R10 3 Forget Romance (4 m All Too Hard - Romandie) - Calvin Habib; she drew barrier 6 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 57.5kg. The blinkers are on and expect to see her more prominent and looking for improvement.

8:30 p.m. R10 5 Axel (7 g Darci Brahma - Josephines Fortune) - Marc Lerner; he drew barrier 3 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 56kg. He possesses a good course/distance record and rates a top four chance.

8:30 p.m. R10 10 Rocky (4 g El Roca - Anthology) - Louis Beuzelin; he drew barrier 11 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1400 metres on the turf and carries 53kg. He followed a nice win with a fourth, but faces a tough draw (11), and is likely to get back and run home.

9:00 p.m. R11 9 Super Posh (7 g Super Easy - Posh Bec) - Saleh Shafrizal (a1); he drew barrier 9 of 12 in the $50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the poly-track and carries 51kg. He won two starts ago but requires luck from his awkward draw (9).
