Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau Singapore has five horses entered on Sunday 21 April at Kranji. 

7:00 p.m. R6 4 Charminton (5 g Charm Spirit – Sarzana) – Ryan Curatolo; he drew the outside barrier (14) in the S$50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the turf and carries 54kg. Consistent winning four at this distance, he rates a top four chance with luck from widest draw (14) - one of two in the event for the stable.

7:00 p.m. R6 12 Gun (3 g Extreme Choice – Myrtle Turtle) – Carlos Henrique; he drew barrier 10 of 14 in the S$50,000 Class 4 1200 metres on the turf and carries just 50.5kg. He is nearing a drop to Class 5 and is better suited there.

8:00 p.m. R8 1 Istataba (5 m Treasure Beach – Coordenada) – Ryan Curatolo; she drew barrier 5 of 11 in the S$70,000 Class 3 1600 metres on the turf and carries 58.5kg. She has been freshened, and while she is preparing for more distance, expect her to be finding the line with first four claims - one of two competing here fore the team.

8:00 p.m. R8 4 Tangible (9 g Trippi – Ebony Flyer) – Luis Corrales; he drew barrier 4 of 11 in the S$70,000 Class 3 1600 metres on the turf and carries 57kg. He requires 2000 metres or further to make his presence felt.

9:05 p.m. R10 10 Santino (3 g Santos – Mercy’s Choice) – Carlos Henrique; he drew barrier 4 of 12 in the S$50,000 Class 4 1100 metres on the poly track and carries 51.5kg. He delivered a huge fresh-up win, should he capable of handling the rise in grade and rates a top four chance.
