5.45 p.m. R3 3 IKING - App CK Ng (a3); again two stable starters, this the first of the duo in this field of only seven has drawn the ace and with the apprentice claim will carry 53.5kgs. He is enjoying good form and will head for a spell after this race - a small field, a claim and barrier one, even though he has never won in Class 3 company he has a few things in his favour and rates a top five chance.
5.45 p.m. R3 7 DAMON - App CC Wong (a2); the second stable rep. in this Class 3 1800m on the long course A (turf) also takes weight relief from an apprentice allowance and will carry just 51kgs, jumping from gate five. He has been in good form since moving to Singapore and although he has never performed in this company, he rates a top five chance with the claim that brings him down to the dangerous light weight.
