6.50 p.m. R5 1 ASPREY - Manuel Nunes; carries joint top weight of 58.5kgs and will jump from barrier six in this Class 4 1200m, also on the long course C Turf. Facing 10 opponents, he resumes off a lay-off but is good form. Although 1200m is a touch short of his best trip, the trainer expects him to run well fresh - a top four chance.

7.25 p.m. R6 4 READY FORTUNE - Manuel Nunes; two stable starters and both to carry the Fortuna colours, the first has not drawn well (13) in the field of 13 and is weighted with 57kgs. In this Class 5 1600m on the long course C turf, Ready Fortune disappointed last weekend but the rain on the polytrack affected his performance. Back on the grass and in division two, he is always a top four chance.
7.25 p.m. R6 6 DOUBLE JEOPARDY - App CK Ng (a3); the second stable runner will carry 52.5kgs with the apprentice claim and has drawn much better, jumping from the coveted ace draw. Just hasn't re-found his previous form since he bled, he does drop down here to division two plus has the 3kg claim - he will need to improve.

7.55 p.m. R7 7 BRAHMS AND LISZT - App CK Ng (a3); in the hands of the apprentice, he has drawn gate six and will drop to 52kgs in this 12-strong Class 4 1800m line-up. In a race named after the 2&3YO Champion Singapore racemare Mexican Rose, he steps to 1800m and although up in grade, he does get right down in the weights which he probably needs. The rider has won on him previously - an outside chance.

He was going to be balloted on Friday so was switched to this race but the field looks a touch tough for him - look for him when he returns to Class 5 company.
