5.50 p.m. R3 10 STARSKY- App CK Ng (a3); whilst the apprentice claim brings a big weight advantage (he carries 48.5kgs), the draw isn't as favourable (10). This Class 4 1200m on the poly sports an 11 strong assembly - he is just battling a bit in this class so keep an eye on him when he returns to Class 5 company in due course.

8.25 p.m. R8 6 MISS WAIMATAITAI - Manuel Nunes; the first of two stable reps in the Class 5 1800m on the long course A (turf). She needs to be on her best behaviour and if she is, from gate eight with 55kgs she can give a good account of herself. This is her first start over this trip so that is somewhat of an unknown - a top four chance.
8.25 p.m. R8 7 MOLLY BROWNE - Shafiq Rizuan; the second of the team in Race 8, she has drawn the car-park (14) in this 14 strong field and will carry 54.5kgs. She really needs to find better form quickly or her future racing may be in Malaysia.
