Sunday 14 August

4.50 p.m. R1 4 PRETTY ELUSIVE - Manuel Nunes; the first runner for the stable on Sunday draws awkwardly (11) in this Class 5 1100m field of 12 on the polytrack.  Carrying 56.5kgs for the top rider, it's his second start for the stable after a nice fourth first up. He wears visor blinkers and with a tricky draw to overcome - place chances looks best.

5.20 p.m. R2 10 DISTINCTIVE DARCI - Manuel Nunes; this 3YO son of Darci Brahma has really showed early promise since arriving in Singapore.  He has drawn out at nine of 11 in the Initiation 4YO & Below over 1000m on the polytrack but will carry just 50.5kgs.  He has had a freshen up, and he too faces a tricky draw over this sprint distance - if he can navigate that he rates a strong top four chance.

6.20 p.m. R4 2 CLUTHA LAD - A Da Silva; the first of two stable runners, he draws barrier five in a field of 12 for the Class 4 1200m on the polytrack.  With 56kgs on his back, he's an older horse now and needs this run over 1200m to have him fit for 1700m in two weeks - a rough place chance.

6.20 p.m. R4 5 VALUE OF JUSTICE - Olivier Placais; the second for Mark Walker has drawn wide at barrier 10 and carries 54.5kgs. On debut, he has transferred from Australia for the Lucky Stable and will improve once he steps up over more distance.

7.25 p.m. R6 2 DAMON - Danny Beasley; this consistent galloper has drawn barrier seven and has 57.5kgs to carry.  The first of three runners for Mark Walker in this Open Benchmark 67 featuring only eight starters, he is enjoying good form and galloped nicely during the week - a top four chance.

7.25 p.m. R6 3 STORM TROOPER - Manuel Nunes; the second for the stable is a son of Tavistock who has really hit his straps and claimed a deserved victory last start. He has drawn the ace and carries 57.5kgs over the 2000m on the turf short course C.  Any rain around will suit his chances - first time over 2000m, the trainer thinks he will relish this distance - a good top four chance.

7.25 p.m. R6 5 BRAHMS AND LISZT - App CK Ng (a3); this hardy warhorse will enjoy the 50kgs courtesy of the apprentice claim and has drawn gate five.  The third of the stable's reps, this is his first try over 2000m.  As an older horse now the distance should suit and with the dangerous lightweight - a top four chance.

8.25 p.m. R8 1 EATON'S GOLD - App CK Ng (a3); dropping to 56kgs with the 3kg apprentice allowance, he has drawn nicely at three for the Open Benchmark 67 1000m on the polytrack.  The first of a duo in this event for Mark Walker, he is now an 8YO and may need an easier race but he always tries hard - look for him when he drops back in class.

8.25 p.m. R8 4 CHAMPAGNE REIN - Manuel Nunes; he'll jump from barrier seven and carries 57kgs with the country's champion rider up.  The second for the stable in this, he improved since his first up run in Singapore.  With blinker/pacifiers worn for the first time - he presents as a top four chance.
