He carries 58kgs and has drawn the ace marble in this field of 14 starters. He finds a good barrier draw in the right race - a top four chance.

6.20 p.m. R2 3 BIG REGARDS - App Mohd Firdaus (a2); in the second event, the $75,000 Restricted Maiden 2&3YO WFA 1200m also on the turf short course A, this 3YO son of Darci Brahma is having his second Singapore start. He draws awkwardly (11 of 14) but with the apprentice claim will carry a lightweight 51kgs. He disappointed on debut but will need to get up over more distance before he shows some ability.

6.50 p.m. R3 7 VIVIANO - Manuel Nunes; this handy Keeper 5YO faces nine opponents in the Open Benchmark 83 over 1200m on the turf short course A. Drawn well with barrier four, and 55kgs on his back for this S$100,000 feature, he has had a wonderful season but now finds himself in a tough grade - place chance.

7.50 p.m. R5 4 ROCKFAST - Manuel Nunes; en route to a potential Gold Cup tilt, this classy son of Fastnet Rock has now earned over S$321,000 in his 19 Kranji appearances, which have included four wins to date. In the evening's second $100,000 feature, the Open Benchmark 89 over 2000m also on the turf short course A, he draws beautifully (2) and carries 55kgs. Contesting an event with only eight starters, he is in great form and any rain around would enhance his chances - a strong top three contender.

8.25 p.m. R6 8 DREAM COMES TRUE - Manuel Nunes; Mark Walker has a strong hand in this S$75,000 Novice SW 1200m on the turf short course A, with a stable trio lining up in the field of 11. The first, a 3YO by Alamosa, has already been a Kranji winner in his three starts since landing in Singapore. He has drawn widest (8 of 11) but has secured the services of the top rider and carries just 52.5kgs. He disappointed slightly, coming back fresh here with blinkers - top four chance.
8.25 p.m. R6 9 AWATERE - Shafiq Rizuan; Mark Walker's second runner also looks well placed and he too has been in the winner's circle since landing recently in Singapore. He has drawn handily (4) and will also carry just 52.5kgs. The son of Charge Forward is raced by the Forsyth family and he also disappointed a touch last start - but he had excuse possibly with the very firm track. The trainer hopes for rain and with the blinkers on - a top five chance.
8.25 p.m. R6 10 HATTA - Oscar Chavez; the “third leg†of our stable trio is this last start winner who has drawn gate seven and, like his two stablemates above, carries 52.5kgs. He won nicely last start on the poly but back to the turf here, the trainer is looking for rain to ease the track a bit - if it comes, a top five chance.

8.55 p.m. R7 8 IKING - Manuel Nunes; staying on the turf short course A for this $80,000 Class 3 1400m where the stable lines up two in the field of 14. The first draws well (2) and carries 54.5kgs. He is in great form, has drawn a good gate - a strong top four chance.
8.55 p.m. R7 11 TURQUOISE KING - Shafiq Rizuan; after sitting as the second on the ballot, he has drawn five in the field of 14 and is weighted at 53.5kgs - he has made the field but would be more competitive with a class drop.

9.25 p.m. R8 2 ASPEN - App Z Syed (a4) - another two runner affair for the stable in the Kranji Stakes D SW 1400m on the turf short course A. The first stable rep. is another by Alamosa who has drawn nine of 14 and will take advantage of a maximum apprentice claim, dropping to 54kgs. He drops down to Kranji D for the first time, has the claim and any rain around would also aid his chances - a top four chance.
9.25 p.m. R8 6 VALUE OF JUSTICE - Manuel Nunes - the second stable runner fares no better in the draw department (10) and is also carded to carry 58kgs. He has been slightly disappointing since arriving in Singapore - he needs to improve.

10.20 p.m. R10 4 DAMON - Manuel Nunes; again two entrants for the stable, this time in the S$60,000 Class 4 1600m. This now 5YO son of O'Reilly is a very honest and consistent galloper but for this assignment on the turf short course A, he has unfortunately 13 of 14 and will carry 57kgs. He is always a chance in Class 4 company and some easing of the ground would be a big assist.
10.20 p.m. R10 13 Q NINE MAXIM - Derrick David; the second stable runner cops a nasty draw (14 from 14) but carries a featherweight of 50kgs. He rates a dangerous lightweight chance if the rider can negotiate the difficult barrier draw.

11.00 p.m. R11 5 EN CIVIL - Manuel Nunes; Mark Walker's final runner for tonight lines up in the last race, this Class 4 1400m. Also to be raced on the turf short course A, this capable galloper who has finished runner up at his last two starts, has drawn 11 in this field of 14 and carries 55.5kgs. He is in great form but does have an awkward barrier draw to overcome - a strong top four chance if Nunes can do this.
