Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview

Te Akau horses racing at Kranji Racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 Trainers' Premiership winner Mark Walker lies third on the Trainers' Premiership - now with 67 wins since 1 January as the season comes to a close shortly.

Sunday 4 December

6.20 p.m. R2 4 ALAMAK BOY - Alan Munro; in the first for the stable, it is first time to the races for this Alamos 3YO in the S$75,000 Restricted Maiden 2&3YO WFA 1200m on the polytrack.  Unfortunately he draws the rank outside of the 10 runners and carries 57kgs.  He hasn't had a lot of experience on the polytrack but will be better once the turf opens in the new season.

7.20 p.m. R4 13 BRAHMS AND LISZT - App CK Ng (a3); this veteran 7YO jumps  from gate four in the Class 4 1200m on the polytrack - if he gains a start, as he is currently one on the ballot, he will carry just 47kgs with the apprentice aboard. He also needs to drop back to Class 5 to again be competitive.

11.35 p.m. R12 8 LADY IFFRAAJ - App S Anandan (a1); this 4YO daughter of Iffraaj is the first of two for Mark Walker in the final event on the day's programme, the Class 4 1100m on the polytrack.  She will break from barrier two in a 12-strong field and carry 51kgs with the claim. She too may need to drop to Class 5 in order to win again.

11.35 p.m. R12 12 BEST JADE - D David; to complete the day's racing, he has drawn barrier seven and carries only 50kgs.  He too needs to run in Class 5 company.
