Sunday 19 February
5.40 p.m. R1 6 PURE JUSTICE - Gerald Mosse; the worst draw (11 of 11) for the Kranji Stakes D SW 1200m on the turf short course C. Carrying 58kgs, he has been disappointing - first time on turf but with a wide draw - needs to improve.
5.40 p.m. R1 7 ASPREY - Shafiq Rizuan; hasn't fared much better draw-wise (9) and also carries 58kgs in the S$38,000 event. On the back of an improved fourth last start, he is heading the right way, blinkers go on - top four chance.
6.10 p.m. R2 1 HIDDEN PROMISE - App R Zawari (a2); draws the ace in this 13 strong field for the Class 5 1600m on the turf short course C. Carrying top weight of 59kgs, the apprentice claim drops him to 57kgs. He hasn't had a lot of luck his last two runs - first time in this class, a top four chance.
6.40 p.m. R3 3 NAZIR - Gerald Mosse; a handy draw (2) in the field of just eight for the Class 3 1600m on the on the turf short course C. The winner of two of his last five appearances, he carries 55.5kgs and he has been a touch disappointing his last two starts but steps to 1600m - an improver.
7.10 p.m. R4 9 O'REILLY STAR - Shafiq Rizuan; two for Mark Walker in the S$75,000 Restricted Maiden WFA 2&3YO 1200m on the turf short course C. This son of O'Reilly is on debut, has drawn well (3 of 14) and carries 57kgs. He is a lovely 3YO having his first start - top four chance.
7.10 p.m. R4 15 GOOD JUSTICE - Oscar Chavez; on ballot, has drawn six and carries 57kgs but is unlikely to make the field.
7.40 p.m. R5 6 STAR STRIKE - Shafiq Rizuan; again two starters for Mark Walker, the first has drawn nicely (1) and carries 56.5kgs in this Kranji Stakes D SW 1200m on the turf short course C. After a solid effort for second last start, where he was unlucky, he is still a top four chance even though the 1200m may be a touch short.
7.40 p.m. R5 10 MISS WAIMATAITAI - Gerald Mosse; the second for the stable has unfortunately drawn the outer most barrier (13) and carries 55kgs. A back to back winner two and three starts ago, she needs to always bring her manners to the table. The horror draw - take her on trust depends how she jumps from the gates.
8.45 p.m. R7 1 EN CIVIL - Gerald Mosse; two stable representatives in this Class 4 1400m on the turf short course C, the first draws 7 of 12 and carries 57.5kgs. In good form, he's an older horse now - a top four chance.
8.45 p.m. R7 5 ANCIENT WARRIOR - Shafiq Rizuan; the second for Mark Walker is a last start winner, draws beautifully at barrier three and will carry 54.5kgs. He has trained on well, steps up in grade but still a top four chance.
9.15 p.m. R8 5 VRAAD - Shafiq Rizuan; dual stable attack here again in the Class 5 1200m on the turf short course C. Jumping from gate eight and carrying 56kgs, he showed an improvement when finishing a brave second last start. He faces a similar grade again - top four chance.
9.15 p.m. R8 8 PRETTY ELUSIVE - Manuel Nunes; he has drawn well (5 of 13) and carries 55.5kgs. This last start winner is now up in grade - a top four chance.
9.50 p.m. R9 8 DISTINCTIVE DARCI - Gerald Mosse; he has drawn to advantage (5) and carries 55kgs in this Class 3 1200m on the turf short course C. A talented son of Darci Brahma, he faces a capacity field of 14 and by his standards was a touch disappointing his first two runs this prep. Gets to the turf in a very strong field but has worked well during the week - a strong top four chance.
9.50 p.m. R9 16 EATON'S GOLD - TBA; second on ballot has drawn seven and carries 52kgs, unlikely to make the field.
10.25 p.m. R10 1 AHMAR - Oscar Chavez; the first of two for Mark Walker cops a shocking draw (13 of 14) in the Kranji Stakes D SW 1200m on the turf short course C and has 58kgs to carry. He has been going good races and last start was a good second - just a shame he's has drawn so wide, will need luck - if he gets it, a top four chance.
10.25 p.m. R10 3 MOMENT OF JUSTICE - Gerald Mosse; drawn the complete opposite to his stablemate, he jumps from the inside ace draw and will carry 58kgs. He has drawn nicely, looks well, trainer would prefer 1400m - still a top four chance.
10:55 p.m. R11 4 DAMON - Danny Beasley; to complete the night, he draws gate six in the S$60,000 Class 4 1400m on the turf short course C. With 56.5kgs on his back, he is in good form, going nice races - a top four chance.
