Sunday 30 April - note Singapore races this Sunday & Monday
4.40 p.m. R1 11 LUCKY BOY - I Azhar; the day begins with this last start third place-getter lining up in the Class 5 1200m on the polytrack - where he draws seven and carries 55kgs. In this field of 12 starters, his third placing last time was his first run for the stable - top five chance.
5.10 p.m. R2 1 LIM'S SIGNATURE - App R Zawari (a2); two for Mark Walker in this Class 5 1000m on the polytrack where this first runner draws best (4) and carries 57kgs thanks to the apprentice claim. He is an improving type and rates a top four chance.
5.10 p.m. R2 3 MISS WAIMATAITAI - App Z Syed (a4); the second stable starter is well known for her ‘tricks' and if she makes a clean get away, she is very capable on her day - the question is her manners! She draws out at nine of the 10 contestants and drops to 54kgs with the maximum claim. She has been freshened - place chance.
6.10 p.m. R4 1 MOMENT OF JUSTICE - Manuel Nunes; this race also features two for Mark Walker - the first in the Kranji Stakes D SW 1700m on the polytrack jumps from gate three, carries 57kgs and has the champion rider on top. He has been going solid races and, back in an easier grade, a top five chance.
6.10 p.m. R4 4 HIDDEN PROMISE - App R Zawari (a2); a 2kg weight relief for this winner two starts back for the Fortuna team - he draws just outside his stablemate (4 of nine) and carries 55kgs. He is another improving type - top five chance.
6.40 p.m. R5 9 BRINGER OF WAR - Manuel Nunes; this 2YO Burgundy filly went a ripper of a debut for second when sent out favourite and looks a promising prospect, though as her name suggests! She takes her place in this 2YO feature the Singapore Silver Horseshoe Open 2YO 1000m on the polytrack where she will break from barrier two and carry only 53.5kgs for the S$90,000 event. She faces a field of only eight other ‘babies' and rates a top four chance.
7.10 p.m. R6 4 BRAHMS AND LISZT - App Z Syed (a4); this veteran is back in a Class where he can make his presence felt - lining up in the Class 5 1200m on the polytrack, drawing out at nine of 11 and carrying only 53kgs with the allowance. He is booked to travel to Malaysia for his future racing - would need an easier field.
8.15 p.m. R8 4 BEST JADE - Manuel Nunes; a field of 12 for this Class 5 1200m on the polytrack where this solid performer of late draws well (1) and carries 56kgs. His last three starts have delivered placings of 3-4-5 and he has been consistent - a top four chance.
8.50 p.m. R9 6 IVANHOE - App CK Ng (a3); he has been improving with every run since joining the stable (6-5-3) and draws gate six in this 10-strong Class 3 1000m on the polytrack. Carrying only 50kgs with the apprentice aboard, he wears the famous racing colours of Dato Tan Chin Nam and probably just needs to drop a grade.
9.25 p.m. R10 5 THE COSMOS - App R Zawari (a2); it was good to see him break through again to win two starts ago and tonight he draws the coveted ace in the Class 4 1100m on the polytrack and carries 53.5kgs for the apprentice. One of two in the race for Mark Walker, he is in good form and is racing well - top four chance.
9.25 p.m. R10 8 UNSURPASSED - App CK Ng (a3); took on this grade last start and came through with a convincing win. Tonight he has an advantageous draw (3) and facing 10 opponents, he carries only 51kgs courtesy of the claim. This son of Exceed and Excel - surprise winner in Class 4 last time but faces a stronger field - place chance.
10.00 p.m. R11 6 AWATERE - App CK Ng (a3); this New Zealand owned Charge Forward gelding is the final team representative tonight and takes his place in the Class 4 1200m on the polytrack where he draws widest (13) and carries 52kgs for the apprentice rider. He rates a place chance.
