The 2015 Champion Singapore Trainer and Trainers' Premiership winner, the Akau's Mark Walker (who finished third on the 2016 Trainers' Premiership) has trained 52 winners and continues to dominate the Trainers' Premiership - with a 16-win lead.

5.00 p.m. R1 3 JACK'S SECRET - Vlad Duric; the day begins for Mark Walker and the team with two representatives in the first event on the programme, the Class 5 1400m on the turf long course C. The first for the stable will jump from gate four and carry 57kgs for the top international rider. A son of Sakhee's Secret racing in the Fortuna colours, he drops to Class 5 and blinkers go on - a top four chance.
5.00 p.m. R1 9 BIG REGARDS - App CK Ng (a3); the second for the trainer has drawn the ace in this field of 10 and with the claimer aboard, will carry 51kgs. He has been disappointing to date and needs to step up.
5.30 p.m. R2 8 ALRINA - Vlad Duric; with a rider aboard who is forging a very successful relationship with the trainer, this New Zealand bred filly makes her Singapore debut today. She has drawn sweetly (2 of 10) and is weighted with 55.5kgs in the S$75,000 Restricted Maiden 2&3YO WFA 1100m on the polytrack. She is well prepared for her first start - a top four chance.
6.30 p.m. R4 2 QINGDAO - Alan Munro; this 4YO lines up in a compact field of only nine runners in this Maiden WFA 1700m on the polytrack where he draws gate six and carries 58kgs on his back. Following a more encouraging run for third last start - another top four chance.
7.30 p.m. R6 4 LIM'S REFORM - Nooresh Juglall; a good draw (1) in this other field of just the nine starters, this time in this Class 4 1400m on the turf long course C. Formerly raced under the name of Damon, he carries 56.5kgs and bring a form line of total consistency into play 4-2-5-3-3. He always tries hard - a top four chance.
8.05 p.m. R7 9 KASHAN - Oscar Chavez; a handy draw (5) for the Class 5 1600m on the polytrack for another horse who showed good consistency last prep and will be fitter for his resuming run when seventh. Assigned 54kgs in the field of 11, he got caught wide last start and is well placed in this race - top four chance.
9.05 p.m. R9 5 TURQUOISE KING - Vlad Duric; the final runner for Mark Walker tonight has the plum draw (1) in the Class 3 1700m on the polytrack where is weighted with 56kgs. This rising 7YO is in fine form 3-3-5-1-5 and against 10 opponents in this S$80,000 event, he had no luck last start but with the nice draw - a top four chance.
