Singapore's Champion Trainer of 2015 and 2017, Te Akau's Mark Walker lies fifth on the Trainers' Premiership this season with 12 wins, 22 second and 20 third placings.

7.50 p.m. R6 11 LIM'S REFORM - App N Hanafi (a4); unfortunately he has copped the widest draw in this field of 14 starters for the S$80,000 Class 3 1400m on the turf short course B. An advantage however is the maximum apprentice claim which drops his weight to just 49.5kgs. A 6YO by O'Reilly, he needs Class 4 to make his real presence felt.

7.50 p.m. R6 16 SACRED GALAXY - TBA; he draws well (2), is weighted with 52.5kgs but sits second on the ballot - unlikely to make the field.

8.20 p.m. R7 8 OBSTACLES FREE - Ismail Azhar; a field of 12 assembled for this 
S$45,000 Class 4 non-premier 1200m on the polytrack where this 4YO by Coats Choice draws barrier eight and has 53.5kgs on his back. A winner three starts back, he will bounce back when he returns to Class 5.

9.30 p.m. R9 12 SUCCESS COME TRUE - App CC Wong (a1); the final runner on a relatively quiet night for the stable takes his place in the S$60,000 Class 4 premier 1200m on the polytrack where he will bounce from gate four and have just 49kgs assigned with the apprentice engaged. A son of Alamosa, he faces 11 opponents and he too is another that would appreciate a drop in grade.
