Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview
Te Akau horses racing at Kranji racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 and 2017 Premiership winning trainer Mark Walker has recorded 30 wins since 1 January - with a winning treble last Sunday that included a Group 1 quinella to add to the season's two Group 2 victories.

Te Akau Singapore has eleven horses racing on Sunday 1 July at Kranji.

5.40 p.m. R2 2 Bejewelled (3 g Minstrel Court - Diamond Jules) - Craig Grylls; two runners in the second race on the programme for the stable - the first has drawn the outside barrier (12) in the $85,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the turf and carries 57kgs. He will be ridden conservatively from a wide gate, go back and ridden for luck. He is capable of finishing top four with the right trip.

5.40 p.m. R2 6 Lord of Light (3 g Power - Danwood) - Ryan Curatolo; the second starter for Mark Walker has drawn barrier five of 12 in the $85,000 Restricted Maiden 1200 metres on the turf and carries 57kgs. A nice horse by Power (Oasis Dream), bought out of the trials in New Zealand, he will improve over more ground but a top four chance.

6.10 p.m. R3 3 Lim's Regard (4 g Red Giant - Celtic Class) - John Powell; has drawn barrier one of 10 in the $100,000 Class 2 1800 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. He had no luck last week - severely checked at the 250m in the $1m Charity Bowl - and rates a top four chance from the inside gate.

7.10 p.m. R5 2 Wira Sakti (4 g Globetrotter - Verneau) - Ryan Curatolo; again two line up for the stable with the first, jumping from barrier five of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1600 metres on the poly track and carrying 58kgs. He has been a head scratcher, steps to a mile but needs to improve on previous performances.

7.10 p.m. R5 3 O'Reilly Star (4 g O'Reilly - Starbelly) - MM Firdaus (a1); the second stable rep. has drawn barrier six of 12 in the $20,000 Maiden 1600 metres on the poly track and carries 57kgs. He has not had much luck in recent starts, and is knocking on the door.  The draw suits and he rates a top four chance.

7.45 p.m. R6 2 Sacred Sea (5 g Sea the Stars - Gipsy Countess) - Razali Zawari (a1); a trio of runners for the stable this time in the Class 4 1600 metres on the poly track where the first to step out for the stable draws gate six of 12 and carries 56kgs. He was unlucky last start to be beaten by half a head and rates a top four chance for the Raffles' Racing team.

7.45 p.m. R6 3 Turquoise King (7 g Stratum - Girls Rule) - MM Firdaus (a1); the second in this $45,000 event will break from gate eight and carry 56kgs. An older horse now, he drops back to Class 4 and can improve quickly - a place chance.

7.45 p.m. R6 5 Hidden Promise (5 g Postponed - Promissory) - Alysha Collett; the final of the trio has drawn barrier four of 12 and carries 56kgs. He too was unlucky last start and has drawn nicely - he presents as a top four chance.

8.20 p.m. R7 1 Justice Glory (3 f Fastnet Rock - Tavarnelle) - Alysha Collett; the first of two starters for Mark Walker, the filly has drawn the outside barrier (12) in the Class 3 1200 metres on turf and carries 57kgs. She ran a super race to win on debut, with this rider aboard. The draw makes it difficult and she will be ridden for luck.

8.20 p.m. R7 3 Lim's Reform (6 g O'Reilly - Pretty) - Ryan Curatolo; joining his stablemate, he has drawn barrier five of 12 in the $80,000 affair and carries 55.5kgs. He has blinkers on, needs a good track, has a very good rider aboard and rates a top four chance.

8.55 p.m. R8 7 Cousteau (3 g Exceed and Excel - Maritime) - Alan Munro; has drawn barrier six of 12 in the $80,000 Class 3 1000 metres on the poly track and carries 53kgs. He pleased when finishing fourth last start and has been kept fresh.  Although he meets quite a tough field, he is an improver and still rates a top four chance.
