Te Akau Singapore Sunday Preview
Te Akau horses racing at Kranji racecourse in Singapore, where 2015 and 2017 Premiership winning trainer Mark Walker has recorded 34 wins, 37 second and 37 third placings since 1 January - including a Group 1 quinella in the Charity Bowl to add to the season's two Group 2 victories.  He currently lies second on the Trainers' Premiership.

5.50 p.m. R2 1 O'Reilly Star (5 g O'Reilly - Starbelly) - Vlad Duric; draws barrier 10 of 14 in the Maiden 1400 metres on turf and carries 58kgs. He has pleased with two thirds at his last two starts and rates a top four chance - one of two in the race for Mark Walker.

5.50 p.m. R2 8 Gridiron (4 g Captain Gerard - Natural Lil) - Craig Grylls; the second stable runner draws barrier eight in the $20,000 event and carries 57.5kgs. Despite working well, he needs to improve and take his work efforts to the track - he tackles 1400m for the first time.

8.35 p.m. R7 4 Sacred Empire (6 g More Than Ready - Danalaga) - Razali Zawari (a1); will jump from the ace draw in the field of 12 in the $80,000 Kranji C 1800 metres on turf and carries 54.5kgs. He has been a touch disappointing in his three runs and might need a drop back to Class 4.

9.05 p.m. R8 9 Sacred Galaxy (6 g Flying Spur - Irish Nova) - Mohamad Firdaus (a1); draws barrier eight of 12 in the $80,000 Class 3 1400 metres on turf and carries 52.5kgs. He is another that may require a drop back to Class 4.

9.35 p.m. R9 1 Lim's Zoom (4 g Zacinto - Sound Decision) - Vlad Duric; to round off the meeting, two runners for the stable in the Class 4 1200 metres on turf - the first drawing barrier eight of 14 with 58kgs on his back. A very nice horse, he has been preparing well to resume and rates a top four chance.

9.35 p.m. R9 5 Storm Trooper (7 g Tavistock - Shock) - Razali Zawari (a1); the second for Mark Walker draws barrier 13 of 14 in the $45,000 affair and carries 56.5kgs. He will appreciate a step up in distance.
